Indian filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee is once again pushing the boundaries of storytelling with his much-anticipated Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2, a sequel to his 2010 film Love Sex Aur Dhoka. The movie, which is produced by Ektaa Kapoor, features Mouni Roy, Swastika Mukherjee, Tusshar Kapoor, Uorfi Javed, Nimrit Ahluwalia, Paritosh Tiwari, Bonita Rajpurohit, and Anu Malik among others in pivotal roles.

Before the release of the film's teaser, Dibakar shared a video on social media to clarify that he was going to show the truth in the film, no matter how dark. He said, "Making LSD and not showing the truth is not possible. So, while making LSD 2, we portrayed the same truth, an authentic picture of life that we see all around us. But, these days, instead of believing the truth, the fashion of ignoring the truth has increased. So, if you are in that fashion, then I can give you a disclaimer that you should not watch the LSD 2 teaser or trailer."

Meanwhile, Ektaa Kapoor recently shared in a Variety interview that she intends to go into hiding after LSD 2's release because of trolls and hate comments. And the hate spamming we went through – our walls used to be spammed every day with hatred, because we attempted to discover and make a movie on female sexuality. Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 trailer out! Dibakar Banerjee's next exposes the sensationalism of digital world

Kourtney Kardashian took to Instagram on April 10 to reveal an unconventional remedy for feeling unwell: drinking breast milk, presumably her own. Sharing a selfie on her Instagram Stories, Kardashian wrote, "I just pounded a glass of breast milk because I feel sick. goodnight!"

The 44-year-old reality TV star, who recently welcomed her fourth child, Rocky, with husband Travis Barker, has been candid about her postpartum experiences in the last few months. She even shared a photo of herself using a breast pump before heading out in full glam for an event.

While the benefits of breast milk for infants are well-researched and well-documented, it is not known if it is equally beneficial for adults.

This isn't the first time a Kardashian has confessed to drinking breast milk to cure an illness. Back in 2013, Kourtney's younger sister Kim revealed on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that she tried breast milk to treat psoriasis.

Last month, Kourtney shared a picture of Rocky's little feet. In the caption, she wrote, "Feeling so grateful for every single second of time with my babies. Rare to get 2 full weeks of 24/7 time as they get older! Thank you Australia for the beautiful memories (minus the spiders)." Check it out below.

Kourtney Kardashian took to Instagram on April 10 to reveal an unconventional remedy for feeling unwell: drinking breast milk, presumably her own. Sharing a selfie on her Instagram Stories, Kardashian wrote, "I just pounded a glass of breast milk because I feel sick. goodnight!" The 44-year-old reality TV star, who recently welcomed her fourth child, Rocky, with husband Travis Barker, has been candid about her postpartum experiences in the last few months. She even shared a photo of herself using a breast pump before heading out in full glam for an event. While the benefits of breast milk for infants are well-researched and well-documented, it is not known if it is equally beneficial for adults.
Harry Potter creator JK Rowling is in no mood to work on her differences with Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, who openly support LGBTQ+ rights. As the National Health Service (NHS) in Britain released an independent review of gender identity services for children and young people, Rowling took to social media to slam trans rights supporters and advocated the need for "proper checks and balances in place before autistic, gay and abused kids are left sterilised, inorgasmic, lifelong patients". The four-year review was commissioned by the NHS and conducted by paediatrician Dr Hilary Cass.

In the report, Cass states, "Children have been let down by a lack of research and remarkably weak evidence on medical interventions in gender care."

Reacting to the report, Rowling shared a series of posts on X and said that she was "bloody angry", claiming that "thousands are complicit, not just medics, but the celebrity mouthpieces, unquestioning media and cynical corporations".

"I understand that the review's conclusions will have come as a seismic shock to those who've hounded and demonised whistleblowers and smeared opponents as bigots and transphobes, but trying to discredit Hilary Cass's work isn't merely misguided. It's actively malign," Rowling wrote on X.

In another X post, Rowling wrote, "Even if you don't feel ashamed of cheerleading for what now looks like severe medical malpractice, even if you don't want to accept that you might have been wrong, where's your sense of self-preservation? The bandwagon you hopped on so gladly is hurtling towards a cliff."

Things escalated when a netizen brought up Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, who have publicly supported transgender rights in the past. The post read, "Just waiting for Dan and Emma to give you a very public apology … safe in the knowledge that you will forgive them."

Rowling spared no time to say that forgiveness is not guaranteed. She wrote, "Not safe, I’m afraid. Celebs who cosied up to a movement intent on eroding women’s hard-won rights and who used their platforms to cheer on the transitioning of minors can save their apologies for traumatised detransitioners and vulnerable women reliant on single sex spaces."

Back in 2020, both Watson and Radcliffe publicly opposed Rowling's opinions on trans rights. On the Trevor Project’s web page, Radcliffe wrote, "Transgender women are women. Any statement to the contrary erases the identity and dignity of transgender people and goes against all advice given by professional health care associations who have far more expertise on this subject matter than either Jo or I."

Shortly after Radcliffe released a statement in 2020, Watson tweeted, "Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned or told they aren’t who they say they are. I want my trans followers to know that I and so many other people around the world see you, respect you and love you for who you are."

Country music singer Morgan Wallen has been arrested after police say he threw a chair off the rooftop of a newly opened six-story bar in downtown Nashville. Wallen, 30, was booked into jail early Monday on three felony counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanour count of disorderly conduct, Metro Nashville Police tweeted.

The charges stem from a chair being thrown from the rooftop of Chief’s bar and landing on Broadway near two police officers. An arrest affidavit says the chair landed about 3 feet (1 meter) from officers, who talked to witnesses and reviewed security footage. Witnesses told officers that they watched Wallen pick up a chair, throw it over the roof and laugh about it.

Wallen’s attorney, Worrick Robinson, confirmed the arrest late Sunday and said the singer was cooperating fully with authorities. He was released from custody and has a court date scheduled for May 3.

Wallen is one of the biggest names in contemporary country. His third studio album, 2023’s “One Thing at a Time,” was the most-consumed album in the U.S. last year. It spent 16 weeks at the top of the Billboard 200 in 2023 — which meant he held the top spot for 30% of the year, more time at No. 1 than any other album since Adele’s “21” dominated over a decade ago. It included several top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100: “Last Night,” “You Proof,” “Thinkin’ Bout Me,” “Thought You Should Know,” and “Don’t Think Jesus.”

Amy Winehouse's lyrics and music were the "guiding star" for director Sam Taylor-Johnson in bringing the late singer's story to the screen in Back to Black. The biographical feature film follows Winehouse's rise to fame and portrays her relationships with her family and former husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

It comes nearly 13 years after the six-time Grammy Award winner died from alcohol poisoning, aged 27. Considered one of the most talented singers of her generation, her untimely death shook the music world.
Telling the story from Winehouse's point of view was essential to Taylor-Johnson.

Actor Jonathan Majors is scheduled to be sentenced Monday in a New York court for assaulting his former girlfriend, a conviction that has already derailed the once-rising star’s career.

The actor could be sentenced to a year in prison but could also just receive probation after a Manhattan jury in December found him guilty of misdemeanour assault.

Lawyers for Majors and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg declined to say ahead of the hearing what punishment they’ll seek from a judge.

Following the guilty verdict, Majors was immediately dropped by Marvel Studios, which had cast him as Kang the Conqueror, a role envisioned as the main villain in the entertainment empire’s movies and television shows for years to come.

The conviction stems from an altercation in March 2023 in which Majors’ then-girlfriend Grace Jabbari accused him of attacking her in the backseat of a chauffeured car, saying he hit her head with his open hand, twisted her arm behind her back and squeezed her middle finger until it fractured.

Majors claimed the 31-year-old British dancer was the aggressor, flying into a jealous rage after reading a text message from another woman on his phone. He maintained he was only trying to regain his phone and escape Jabbari safely.

The jury ultimately convicted him of one assault charge and a harassment violation, though acquitted him on a different assault charge and of aggravated harassment.

Majors had hoped his two-week criminal trial would vindicate him and restore his status in Hollywood.

In a television interview shortly after his conviction, he said he deserves a second chance.

“As he eagerly anticipates closing this chapter, he looks forward to redirecting his time and energy fully toward his family and his art,” Majors’ lawyers said in a statement last week after losing their bid to have the conviction tossed out.

But the 34-year-old California native and Yale University graduate still faces other legal hurdles. Last month, Jabbari filed a civil suit in Manhattan federal court, accusing the actor of assault, battery, defamation and inflicting emotional distress.

She claims Majors subjected her to escalating incidents of physical and verbal abuse during their relationship, which lasted from 2021 to 2023.

Majors’ lawyers have declined to respond to the claims, saying only that they’re preparing to file counterclaims against Jabbari.

The actor had his breakthrough role in 2019’s The Last Black Man in San Francisco. He also starred in the HBO horror series Lovecraft Country, which earned him an Emmy nomination, and as the nemesis to fictional boxing champ Adonis Creed in the blockbuster “Creed III.”

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire easily swatted away a pair of challengers to hold on to the top spot at the box office for the second week in a row, according to studio estimates Sunday.

After its above-expectations $80 million launch last weekend, the MonsterVerse mashup brought in $31.7 million over its second weekend, a 60 per cent drop from its debut. The Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures release, directed by Adam Wingard, has thus far outperformed any of the studio’s recent monster films except for 2014’s Godzilla.

But with $361.1 million worldwide in two weeks, Godzilla x Kong could ultimately leapfrog the $529 million global haul of 2014’s Godzilla. The latest instalment, in which Godzilla and Kong team up, cost about $135 million to produce.

Godzilla x Kong extended its box-office reign as another primate-themed movie arrived in theatres. Dev Patel’s Monkey Man, an India-set revenge thriller released by Universal Pictures, opened in 3,029 North American theatres with an estimated $10.1 million.

That marked a strong debut for Patel’s modestly budgeted directorial debut in which he stars in a bloody, politically charged action extravaganza. Monkey Man, which cost about $10 million to make, was dropped by its original studio, Netflix, after which Jordan Peele and his Monkeypaw Productions swooped in.

The weekend’s other new wide release, The First Omen, from Disney’s 20th Century Studios, struggled to make a big impact with moviegoers. It came in fourth with an estimated $8.4 million in ticket sales in 3,375 theatres, while collecting an additional $9.1 million overseas. The R-rated horror film, which cost about $30 million to make, is a prequel to the 1976 Richard Donner-directed original starring Gregory Peck and Lee Remick.

This version, directed by Arkasha Stevenson and starring Nell Tiger Free, Tawfeek Barhom and Bill Nighy, follows 2006’s The Omen, which opened to $16 million and ultimately grossed $119 million.

Shocking! Kanye West sued for workplace abuse, lewd behaviour and bragging about orgies

Michael Jackson's production company, MJJ Productions, doesn't want his accusers, Wade Robson and James Safechuck, to access the late pop star's police records. The company filed court documents on Wednesday (April 3) in the Superior Court of Los Angeles, seeking to block Robson and Safechuck's requests, claiming they are looking to obtain "photographs of Michael Jackson’s genitalia and naked body taken by police."

The court documents reveal that these images are sealed by a court-entered protective order from the Santa Barbara Superior Court. The filing argues that allowing access to these photographs would not only invade Jackson's privacy but also violate a strict protective order agreed upon by Jackson and law enforcement.

Michael Jackson's production company, MJJ Productions, doesn't want his accusers, Wade Robson and James Safechuck, to access the late pop star's police records. The company filed court documents on Wednesday (April 3) in the Superior Court of Los Angeles, seeking to block Robson and Safechuck's requests, claiming they are looking to obtain "photographs of Michael Jackson’s genitalia and naked body taken by police.

The filing argues that allowing access to these photographs would not only invade Jackson's privacy but also violate a strict protective order agreed upon by Jackson and law enforcement.
It’s never really the end of the road for Kiss. The hard rock quartet have sold their catalogue, brand name and IP to Swedish company Pophouse Entertainment Group in a deal estimated to be over $300 million, it was announced Thursday.

This isn’t the first time Kiss has partnered with Pophouse, which was co-founded by ABBA’s Björn Ulvaeus. When the band’s current lineup — founders Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons as well as guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer — took the stage on the final night of their farewell tour in December at New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden, they ended by revealing digitized avatars of themselves.

The cutting-edge technology was created by George Lucas’ special-effects company, Industrial Light & Magic, in partnership with Pophouse. The two companies recently teamed up for the ABBA Voyage show in London, in which fans could attend a full concert by the Swedish band in their heyday, as performed by their own digital avatars.

The ways in which Kiss’ avatars will be utilised have yet to be announced, but Pophouse CEO Per Sundin says fans can expect a biopic, a documentary and a Kiss experience on the horizon.

An avatar show is scheduled to launch in the second half of 2027 — but don’t expect it to look anything like ABBA Voyage, Sundin told the AP. And fans can expect it to kick off in North America.

Sundin says the goal of the purchase is to expose Kiss to new generations — which he believes sets Pophouse apart from other acquisitions of music catalogues.

“The record companies, the three big ones that are left, they’re doing a fantastic job, but they have so many catalogues and they can’t focus on everything,” he says. “We work together with Universal (Music Group) and Kiss, even though we will own the artists rights, and we’re doing it in conjunction with Kiss. But yes, we bought all rights, and that’s not something I’ve seen that clearly before.”

“I don’t like the word acquisition,” Gene Simmons tells the AP over Zoom, assuring the band would never sell their catalogue to a company they didn’t appreciate.

“Collaboration is exactly what it’s about. It would be remiss in our inferred fiduciary duty — see what I just did there? — to the thing that we created to abandon it,” he continued. “People might misunderstand and think, ‘OK, now Pophouse is doing that stuff and we’re just in Beverly Hills twiddling our thumbs.’ No, that’s not true. We’re in the trenches with them. We talk all the time. We share ideas. It’s a collaboration. Paul (Stanley) and I especially, with the band, we’ll stay committed to this. It’s our baby.”

And within that: no more live touring, for real. “We’re not going to tour again as Kiss, period,” he says. “We’re not going to go put the makeup on and go out there.”

Kiss are Pophouse’s second investment outside of Sweden: In February, Cyndi Lauper entered a partnership with the company which included the sale of the majority share of her music and a new immersive performance project she’s calling an “immersive theatre piece” that transports audiences to the New York she grew up in.

The aim is to develop new ways to bring Lauper’s music to fans and younger audiences through new performances and live experiences.

“Most suits, when you tell them an idea, their eyes glaze over, they just want your greatest hits,” Lauper told the AP at the Pophouse headquarters in Stockholm in February. “But these guys are a multimedia company, they’re not looking to just buy my catalogue, they want to make something new.”

Does time — and a new host — heal all wounds? Fourteen years after Conan O’Brien was messily ousted from NBC’s The Tonight Show to make way for the return of Jay Leno — the comedian is finally back.

O’Brien will appear on the April 9 show to promote his new travel series Conan O’Brien Must Go for Max in conversation with Jimmy Fallon, who took over from Leno in 2014.

After more than 15 years of hosting “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” on NBC, O’Brien was promoted to lead the network’s flagship late-night show in 2009, after it was announced Leno would be given a new prime-time show, also on NBC.

After seven months of slipping Tonight Show ratings and pressure from affiliates who said The Jay Leno Show wasn’t a strong enough lead-in to their nightly newscasts, NBC made a plan to shorten Leno’s show to a half-hour and give it an 11:35 p.m. timeslot, which would have bumped “The Tonight Show” to 12:05 a.m.

“It was my mistaken belief that, like my predecessor, I would have the benefit of some time and, just as important, some degree of ratings support from the prime-time schedule,” O’Brien said at the time in a statement.

He refused to accept the move, and the public spat ended with O’Brien and his staff receiving a multimillion-dollar payout to exit NBC in early 2010.

“And I just want to say to the kids out there watching: You can do anything you want in life. Unless Jay Leno wants to do it, too,” O’Brien said in a monologue before his departure, calling The Tonight Show the fulfilment of a lifelong dream.

O’Brien didn’t stay off the airwaves for too long, returning to late-night in November 2010 on basic-cable network TBS. Conan would run for nearly 11 years. (The first episode beat Leno’s Tonight Show in the ratings.)

In 2012, O’Brien told The Hollywood Reporter that while he still had latent resentment, he acknowledged a one-time “amazing partnership with NBC.”

“There are moments of, ‘What the hell happened? Why did that person do that or say that?’ But there’s also lot of, ‘OK, let’s file this under There’s A Lot I Can’t Control,’” he told the trade publication, adding that he and Leno no longer spoke to one another.

O’Brien’s return to The Tonight Show — which moved from Southern California to New York when Fallon took the helm — isn’t the first time Fallon has used his show to extend an olive branch.
As for O’Brien, he now hosts the podcast Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend. In his new travel show, O’Brien visits countries like Ireland, Thailand, Argentina and Norway.

The overall vibe among late-night talk show hosts has also evolved from the days of intense competition between Leno and CBS’ David Letterman to congeniality — and even friendship.
