Elizabeth Hurley dated Hugh Grant from 1987 to 2000. And, the two used to bicker all day about having kids, according to the 58-year-old actress. They used to discuss what their future kids would look like and whose features or habits they would inherit.
In the latest episode of SiriusXM’s Radio Andy with host Andy Cohen, the actress said, "Of course, we used to think about it because we used to fight all day. We used to look in the mirror next to each other and say, ‘It’d have to be my eyes.’ ‘No, my eyes.’ ‘Your hair.’ ‘No, my hair!’ … So we used to bicker for hours about who would look like who. And of course, none of his children look like him, as it happens."
Elizabeth's son Damian Hurley, 22, who she shares with businessman Stephen Bing, jokingly added, "I do, bizarrely."
In a different interview with People, Damian revealed that Grant warned him about the difficulties of working in showbiz before he became a director. "Hugh, like Mummy, tried to warn me off show business: ‘It's a miserable, you'll hate it, don't do it.’ And I refused to listen, thank God,” said Damian.

Grant and Hurley parted ways in 2000. Hurley welcomed Damian in 2002 and subsequently made Grant his godfather. Hurley is also godmother to one of Grant’s daughters. In2016, the actress told US Weekly that she is still friends with Grant and that the two spoke to each other daily. “We met on a movie 29 years ago, and he’s still my best friend today and I still speak to him every day. That was the best costar I’ve ever had, for sure,” she said at the time.
Grant has five kids: Tabitha Xiao Xi, 12, and Felix Chang Hong, 11, with Chinese actress Tinglan Hong, John Mungo, 11, an 8-year-old and a 5-year-old, whose names haven’t been revealed, with wife Anna Eberstein.
