In case you are wondering, Taylor Swift watches all the memes and social media reviews after her album releases to know what Swifties are talking about! The American singer-songwriter was recently caught liking and unliking a post loaded with memes about her exes.
Since its release, Swift's 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, is all that netizens have been talking about. The playful and often suggestive lyrics have triggered a meme-fest online, with several Swifities taking digs at Swift's ex-partners like Joe Alwyn and Matty Healy.

Swift's "So Long, London" song is allegedly about her breakup with Joe Alwyn. In some songs, she has also hinted at her whirlwind romance with Matty Healy. Swifties also think that "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lives" actually references her rough breakup with Healy in Spring 2023.

It's double trouble for Taylor Swift's ex-partners because the American singer-songwriter is dropping 15 extra songs with her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department. Titled 'The Anthology,' the 15-song companion piece was released just two hours after the main album drop. While making the surprise announcement on Instagram, Taylor wrote, "It’s a 2 am surprise: The Tortured Poets Department is a secret DOUBLE album. I’d written so much tortured poetry in the past 2 years and wanted to share it all with you, so here’s the second instalment of TTPD: The Anthology. 15 extra songs. And now the story isn’t mine anymore… it’s all yours." “The Manuscript,” “The Bolter,” “The Albatross,” and “The Black Dog,” are some of the extra tracks Taylor has released in The Anthology. Some of these bonus tracks have been featured on different vinyl versions of the album. Check out the cover poster below! After Billie Eilish and Kesha, Will Smith arrived at Coachella as a special guest alongside J Balvin. Dressed in a black suit and flaunting a buzz cut, the actor took the stage to perform his iconic hit song "Men in Black" from his 1997 film. Concert-goers felt nostalgic as Smith once again stepped into the shoes of Agent J from the science-fiction action comedy. During the performance, Smith and Balvin were surrounded by backup dancers dressed as aliens and a larger-than-life alien head prop. The actor even brought the memory eraser device featured in the movie. Look at the stage presence and crowd reaction to someone who stopped performing years ago… insane." Another user commented, "The way you can actually hear Will Smith rap and it's not 90% backing track like most of the Coachella clips I've seen. Old school rappers were built differently." Men in Black reach Coachella! Will Smith joins J Balvin for surprise performance

Paris Hilton joined California state lawmakers Monday to push for legislation aimed at cracking down on the industry that cares for troubled teens by requiring more transparency from youth treatment facilities.

The bill supported by the Hilton Hotel heiress and media personality aims to pry open information on how short-term residential facilities for youth dealing with substance abuse and behavioral issues use disciplinary methods such as restraints or seclusion against minors. It would require such centres to notify parents and the state any time they use restraints or seclusion rooms for minors. It’s authored by Republican state Sen. Shannon Grove and Democratic state Sens. Aisha Wahab and Angelique Ashby.

On Monday, Hilton testified in a legislative hearing in support of the bill, detailing her harrowing abuse as a teenager at a facility in Utah that she said still haunts her and urging lawmakers to take action before more children have to suffer similar treatment.

“Our current system designed to reform, in some horrific instances, does the exact opposite,” Hilton told lawmakers Monday. “It breaks spirits and instils fear, and it perpetuates a cycle of abuse. But today, we have the power to change that.”

The California bill passed the committee with bipartisan support on Monday. Under the bill, facilities would have to report details such as what disciplinary actions were taken, why and who had approved the plan. The state department regulating the facilities also would be required to make public the reports and update the database on a quarterly basis. It would not ban the use of such practices.

Hilton has become a prominent advocate for more oversight and regulation of teen treatment centres after publicly sharing the physical and mental abuse she suffered as a teenager. She alleged staff members would beat her, force her to take unknown pills, watch her shower and send her to solitary confinement without clothes as punishment.

In 2021, her testimony about her experience at Utah’s Provo Canyon School helped pass a bill to impose stricter oversight over youth treatment centres in the state. Hilton has also traveled to Washington D.C. to advocate for federal reforms and helped change laws to protect minors in at least eight states. Earlier this month, she spoke in support of boys sent to a private school for troubled teens in Jamaica.

Hilton, whose company called 11:11 Media is sponsoring the bill, called the legislation “a game changer” that would shed light on child abuse at youth residential treatments and hold them accountable.

“This would have been so helpful to me and so many others to have known what was happening behind closed doors,” Paris said in an interview. “Because I was cut off from the outside world, I couldn’t tell my family anything, and that’s what they do.”

Between 2015 and 2020, California sent more than 1,240 children with behavioural problems to out-of-state facilities due to the lack of locked treatment centres for youths, according to Sen. Grove’s office. As reports about abuse happening at these programs emerged, including an incident where a 16-year-old boy died after being restrained for about 12 minutes at a Michigan facility, California also found significant licensing violations at these facilities and decided to do away with the program in 2020. Legislation passed in 2021 formally banned the use of out-of-state residential centres. Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom also authorized $8 million to bring all the minors home by last year.

Minors with behavioural issues are now sent to in-state short-term residential centres, which were created in 2017 to replace group homes. But under current laws, these facilities are not required to share information on how often they use seclusion rooms, restraints, and how many times those methods result in serious injuries or deaths.

Children at these facilities make up one of the most vulnerable populations, including foster youths who have previously been sexually exploited, Grove said.

“It’s a small but critical step to ensure the increased transparency and accountability for California’s children,” she said Monday.

It is about the loneliness that the protagonist feels throughout his lifetime, even when he has reached giddy heights of stardom It is about two artists who provided so much happiness in times of unrest and riots through their music yet were mere providers for their families and loved ones- and nothing else.
A movie weapons supervisor is facing up to 18 months in prison for the fatal shooting of a cinematographer by Alec Baldwin on the set of the Western film “Rust,” with her sentencing scheduled for Monday in a New Mexico state court.

Movie armourer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was convicted in March by a jury on a charge of involuntary manslaughter in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and has been held for more than a month at a county jail on the outskirts of Santa Fe.

Baldwin, the lead actor and co-producer for “Rust,” was pointing a gun at Hutchins when the revolver went off, killing Hutchins and wounding director Joel Souza.

Baldwin has pleaded not guilty to an involuntary manslaughter charge and says he pulled back the gun’s hammer, but not the trigger before the gun went off. His trial is scheduled for July before the same judge, Mary Marlowe Sommer, who oversaw the trial of Gutierrez-Reed.

Gutierrez-Reed could also receive a $5,000 fine.

Prosecutors blamed Gutierrez-Reed for unwittingly bringing live ammunition onto the set of “Rust” where it was expressly prohibited and for failing to follow basic gun safety protocols. After a two-week trial, the jury deliberated for about three hours to reach its verdict.

Defence attorneys for Gutierrez-Reed requested leniency in sentencing — including a possible conditional discharge that would avoid further jail time and leave an adjudication of guilt off her record if certain conditions are met.

Gutierrez-Reed was acquitted at trial of allegations she tampered with evidence in the “Rust” investigation. She also has pleaded not guilty to a separate felony charge that she allegedly carried a gun into a bar in Santa Fe where firearms are prohibited.

Defence attorneys have highlighted Gutierrez-Reed’s relatively young age “and the devastating effect a felony will have on her life going forward.”

They say the 26-year-old will forever be affected negatively by intense publicity associated with her prosecution in parallel with an A-list actor and has suffered from anxiety, fear and depression as a result.

Special prosecutor Kari Morrissey urged the judge to impose the maximum prison sentence and designate Gutierrez-Reed as a “serious violent offender” to limit her eligibility for a sentence reduction later, describing the defendant’s behaviour on the set of “Rust” as exceptionally reckless. She said Gutierrez-Reed has shown a lack of remorse, citing comments by Gutierrez-Reed in phone calls from jail that are monitored by authorities.

“Rust” assistant director and safety coordinator Dave Halls last year pleaded no contest to negligent handling of a firearm and completed a sentence of six months unsupervised probation. “Rust” props master Sarah Zachry, who shared some responsibilities over firearms on the set of “Rust,” signed an agreement with prosecutors to avoid prosecution in return for her cooperation.

Written testimonials in favour of leniency included letters from Gutierrez-Reed’s childhood friend and romantic partner Sean Kridelbaugh, who said Gutierrez-Reed cries constantly out of remorse in the shooting and that further incarceration would interfere with efforts to care for a relative with cancer. Other friends and former colleagues urged the judge to emphasize rehabilitation over punishment in the sentencing.

The pending firearms charge against Gutierrez-Reed stems from an incident at a bar in downtown Santa Fe, days before she was hired to work as the armourer on “Rust.” Prosecutors says investigations into the fatal shooting led to the discovery of a selfie video in which Gutierrez-Reed filmed herself carrying a firearm into the bar, while defence attorneys allege vindictive prosecution.

A judge in Texas is set to hear arguments Monday in rap star Travis Scott’s request to be dismissed from a lawsuit over the deadly 2021 Astroworld festival in Houston. Scott headlined the concert during which 10 people were killed as authorities and festival organizers responded to a massive crowd surge and tried to shut down the show.

Last week, the judge dismissed lawsuits against hip-hop guest performer Drake along with several other individuals and companies involved in the show.

Attorneys for Scott, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster II and is also known as “Cactus Jack,” write in the motion to dismiss that he is a performer and had no role in providing security or crowd management for the festival.

“Performers are not expected to render special protection to the audience, nor to safeguard them from the rest of the crowd,” the motion said. “Performing artists, even those who engage in certain promotional activities, have no inherent expertise or specialized knowledge in concert safety measures.”

Arbaaz Khan is finally breaking his silence on the Galaxy Apartments firing incident that shocked the nation. Taking to Instagram on Monday, the actor clarified that his entire family is extremely disturbed by the incident and that reports of their family being unaffected by it are not true. The statement read, "The recent incident of firing by two unidentified persons on a motorcycle at Galaxy apartment the residence of the Salim Khan family is very disturbing and unnerving. Our family has been taken aback by this shocking incident that took place." At the time, the family is cooperating with the police in the investigation.
Reneé Rapp had a surprise for her fans for her debut Coachella performance on Sunday afternoon. She didn't arrive at the venue alone but was accompanied by none other than - Kesha.

On the stage, Kesha performed her song “Tik Tok” and made a slight change to the lyrics to send out a message for Sean "Diddy" Combs. After hitting the stage, she sang, "Wake up in the morning like fuck P. Diddy," while showing her middle finger in the air.

The original lyrics of the song read, "Wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy."

The change in the lyric comes as Diddy faces several sexual assault allegations and is even accused of sex trafficking. In November 2023, singer Cassie Ventura, Combs' former partner, filed a federal lawsuit alleging a pattern of physical and sexual abuse throughout their relationship. Following Ventura's lawsuit, three more women and one man came forward with similar allegations against Combs. Liza Gardner accused Combs of sexually assaulting her in 1990-91, while Joi Dickerson-Neal alleged he drugged and assaulted her in 1991.

Another anonymous woman referred to as Jane Doe accused Combs and his associates of gang-raping her in 2003 when she was 17 years old. Producer Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones accused Combs of sexual harassment, drugging, and threatening him.

Hip-hop artist Drake has been dismissed from a lawsuit over the deadly 2021 Astroworld festival in Houston in which 10 people were killed, a judge has ruled. Drake was a special guest of rap superstar Travis Scott, who had headlined the festival. He performed with Scott at the end of the concert on Nov. 5, 2021, as the crowd surged and attendees were packed so tightly that many could not breathe or move their arms or legs. Authorities and festival organizers were trying to shut down the show.

The families of the 10 people who died during the concert, as well as hundreds who were injured, sued Drake, Scott and Live Nation — the festival’s promoter — as well as dozens of other individuals and entities.

Many of those who were sued, including Drake and Scott, have asked state District Judge Kristen Hawkins to dismiss the lawsuits against them. On Wednesday, Hawkins dismissed Drake from the case in a brief order.

Lawyers for Drake, whose full name is Aubrey Drake Graham, had argued during a court hearing on April 1 in Houston that he was not involved in putting the concert together so was not liable for the deaths and injuries that had occurred.

During a deposition he gave in November in Toronto, the Canadian rapper said in the moments before he took the stage, no one told him that people in the crowd were suffering cardiac arrests or other injuries. He said when he was on stage, the crowd looked like a blur and he couldn’t make out any details.

In the deposition, Drake was shown a video that the youngest victim, 9-year-old Ezra Blount, took as he sat on his father’s shoulders.

“Do you see the panic in those people’s eyes?” an attorney asked Drake about the video. “I do, sir,” the rapper responded.

Later, when asked by an attorney for Blount’s family about whether it would be important for him to hear from those who put the concert together about why Blount died, Drake said, “I think I would want answers for what happened, yes.”

On Monday, Hawkins dismissed seven companies and individual people who had been sued. But she denied motions to dismiss that were filed by 10 other companies and individuals, including Apple Inc., which produced a livestream of the concert, and two companies associated with Scott. Hawkins was set to hear other motions to dismiss, including one related to Scott as an individual, on Monday.

Following an investigation by Houston Police, no charges were filed against Scott. A grand jury in June declined to indict him and five other people on any criminal counts related to the deadly concert. Police Chief Troy Finner declined to say what was the overall conclusion of his agency’s investigation.

In July, the police department made public its nearly 1,300-page investigative report in which festival workers highlighted problems and warned of possible deadly consequences.

Those killed, who ranged in age from 9 to 27, died from compression asphyxia, which an expert likened to being crushed by a car.

The first trial from the lawsuits is scheduled for May 6.

Some of the lawsuits have since been settled, including those filed by the families of four of the people killed during the concert. The most recent settlement related to a person who was killed was announced in court filings on Feb. 5, with lawyers for the family of 23-year-old Rodolfo “Rudy” Peña saying they had settled their case.
