The decision was referred upstairs and Duckett was adjudged 'not out.' MCC, on its Twitter handle, evoked Law 33.3, saying that Starc didn't have complete control over the ball.</p>

<p>England found themselves in hot waters after Pat Cummins’ two wickets in one over reduced them to 45 for four at one stage on Saturday. However, a 69-run stand between opener Ben Duckett and captain Ben Stokes somehow saved the side's ship and kept them in the chase of 371. With the hosts now needing 257 runs to win the Test and make the score-line even, former batter Marcus Trescothick threw his weight behind the pair, saying that&nbsp;with Stokes around, the target is chasable.</p>

<p>Even in the absence of star spinner Nathan Lyon, who made headlines for showing courage to come onto bat after the fall of the ninth wicket despite suffering a calf tear, Australian bowlers have put on a complete show in the second innings so far.</p>

<p>As the fifth day awaits at the Lord’s, Trescothick feels if both players can put up a partnership early on, they can keep England in the hunt and challenge the Aussies. The Ashes hero, Marcus, added with Bairstow to follow and some of the bowlers, including Stuart Broad, who can also bat, England need not worry much.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I think there's always hope with Ben there, two Bens there, Jonny coming in, and the bowlers," Trescothick told the BBC.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"If someone can get a big score, we can challenge them and try and overcome it. We're still fairly upbeat, we're a positive unit. We have good days and bad days. You enjoy it on a good day, but you don't get too down on a bad day. You take the rough with the smooth,” he added.</p>

<h2>Australia close in on 2-0 lead in Ashes</h2>

<p>The touring Australia team has bashed every thought and theory surrounding Bazball with their old-school, traditional style of play. Having already won the Edgbaston Test by two wickets on the final day, the Aussies are now on the brink of winning their third straight Test in England this summer (including the WTC Final against India).</p>

<p>With only six wickets remaining and all of their premier seamers in top form following day four spells, Australia have their nose in front.</p>

<p>The short-ball barrage, which made headlines for two days, is the likely go-to-option for Australia, who, with this method, triggered England’s collapse in the first innings.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As things stand, Duckett is batting on 50 off 67 balls, while captain Stokes is unbeaten on 29 off 66 balls, hitting a single four only.</p>

Australia commenced the second day's play at 339 for 5 and soon got wrapped up for 416 with Steve Smith top-scoring with a fine 110. England started on a strong note and ended the day's play at 278 for 4, scoring at 4.56 per over, with opener Ben Duckett (98) leading the charge though he was unlucky to miss&nbsp;his century.</p>

<p>At 188/1, England were looking to end the day strongly but lost three wickets by the end of proceedings on Thursday (June 29) but will be satisfied with their comeback. After Day 2, former England captain Andrew Strauss opined on England's fightback. He feels the home side are now in a 'very strong position' but 'not ahead of the&nbsp;game'.</p>

<p>“It was all Australia yesterday and all England today. England are now in a very strong position, they are not ahead of the game but they have certainly come roaring back. Averaging over 50 at the top of the order in the Test side since his return in December last year, the left-handed batter talked about what goes behind the camera inside the dressing room and how it is influencing everyone and everything.</p>

<p>Calling the experience ‘ridiculously different’, Duckett said how he was made to feel inside the dugout was something he never felt before, and that it made him all the more relaxed.</p>

<p>"It's ridiculously different," Duckett said of his Test experience in the Test set-up. "The way that they make everyone feel is something that I never thought would be the case in Test cricket. It's almost like you're playing a friendly, you're actually going out and playing a Test match and it's that relaxed, and that's how you're going to get players to perform at their best,” the left-hander added as quoted by ESPNcricinfo.</p>

<p>"The first thing Baz (McCullum) said to me in Pakistan was: 'Just enjoy it, you're going to get a good run'. To hear that as an opening batsman before your first Test back makes you not nervous and you can go out there and play your way rather than looking for a score.</p>

<p>Realising that Bazball had once become the talk of the town and that with too many people comes too many suggestions, Duckett said the outside noise doesn’t impact what is happening inside the dressing room.</p>

<p>"And I think the big thing in that dressing-room is - whatever the noise is outside that dressing room, no one cares. It's everything in that dressing room and almost you've got that backing, it feels like there's a squad of players now that seems like they're going to keep for a little while, especially while things are going well. Previously, you're fearing for every single game, if you get no runs, you might get dropped the next game," Duckett said.</p>

<p>Currently involved in the away three-match T20Is against Bangladesh – against whom he made his Test debut, Duckett said he’s a mature cricketer now, and probably won’t repeat the same mistake he did back then.</p>

<p>"I've matured as a cricketer. It's realising what works for me, understanding what my strengths are. Seven years ago, I might have tried to hit Shakib [Al Hasan] for six over long-on, now I know all I have to do is hit the ball in front of square leg and it's four runs. The small taste I had back then, I was very young and probably wasn't ready. I think that comes with age and most batters are at their best when they get to the age of 28, 29," he talked about learning from his past experiences.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Ben Duckett will return to action during the second T20I on Sunday in Dhaka as England look to make a comeback after losing the first game by six wickets.</p>
