In this second part, journalist Bari Weiss revealed that "teams of Twitter employees build blacklists, prevent disfavoured tweets from trending, and actively limit the visibility of entire accounts or even trending topics—all in secret, without informing users."

Among the accounts that were shadow-banned include popular right-wing talk show host Dan Bongino, conservative activist&nbsp;Charlie Kirk, and Stanford professor Dr Jay Bhattacharya, who expressed doubts about feasibility of the COVID-19 lockdown.

It comes amidst the exodus of advertisers who have been fleeing the platform since Musk took over due to concerns over policy changes and the reinstatement of banned accounts.

The syrups brought into The Gambia, according to the Indonesian food and drug regulator, are unavailable in the Southeast Asian nation.

"As a precaution, the ministry has asked all health workers in health facilities not to prescribe liquid medicine or syrup temporarily... we also asked drug stores to temporarily stop non-prescription liquid medicine or syrup sales until the investigation is completed," he added.&nbsp;

The increase in AKI cases started in January of this year and has picked up speed since late August, according to the ministry spokesperson, who also noted that an investigation was started last week.

"Since late August 2022, the ministry and the paediatrician association have received increasing reports of acute kidney injury. The jump is sharp," the spokesperson said.

Mehar Chhayakar, an Indian cricketer formerly based in the UAE who was linked to corruption cases in the Middle-east country in 2019, has been banned from all cricket for 14 years for seven breaches of the sport`s anti-corruption code, said the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday. 
 
The ICC Anti-Corruption Tribunal found Chhayakar guilty of attempting to influence aspects of the UAE's ODI series in Zimbabwe in 2019 as well as matches in the Global T20 franchise tournament in Canada the same year. The ICC issued a statement on Wednesday, saying, "Mehar Chhayakar has been banned from all cricket for 14 years after an ICC Anti-Corruption Tribunal found him guilty of seven breaches of the ICC and Cricket Canada Anti-Corruption Codes." 
 
ICC also listed the charges against the cricketer, with the global cricket governing body saying he was involved in "fixing or contriving in any way or otherwise influencing improperly" on two separate occasions. 
 
"Chhayakar, was found to have breached the following provisions of the ICC Anti-Corruption Code and Cricket Canada Anti-Corruption Code in relation to matches in the Zimbabwe v UAE series in April 2019 and matches in the GT20 in Canada in 2019," said ICC.

FIFA has lifted the suspension of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) which was imposed due to undue third-party interference, world soccer`s governing body said on Thursday. A group of officials led by Ashfaq Hussain Shah, which was elected by the Supreme Court in 2018 to run the PFF but was not recognised by FIFA, took over the headquarters in March last year.

They had seized control from FIFA`s normalisation committee headed by Haroon Malik, with Shah saying the committee had not conducted elections for the body in the 18 months since it took charge. FIFA suspended the PFF due to the "hostile takeover" but said it now had confirmation the committee had regained full control of the PFF`s premises and was in a position to manage its finances.
