On Tuesday, the actor arrived at the Chikkadpally police station in Hyderabad at around 11 am with his father, Allu Aravind, and lawyers. He was questioned by a police team led by Central Zone DCP Akshansh Yadav. The questioning ended at around 2.45 pm.
While speaking to PTI, Arjun's advocate said, "He cooperated with the police fully. If required, they said they'd call him again. They (the police) wanted to question him and he cooperated. They treated him very well."

Police asked the actor about his awareness of the denied permission for the visit and details about his private security arrangements. They alleged that his bouncers pushed fans, leading to the stampede.

Later, as his vehicle approached the screening venue, Allu Arjun waved from the sunroof of his vehicle and whipped up the frenzy among his fans that had thronged the locality. Flanked by his private security guards, as Arjun entered the premises, a stampede-like situation began to unfold. 
Revathi had come to the same theatre along with her husband and their two children. Amid the chaos that unfolded at the venue, the mother and son were separated from the rest of their family. With the crowds swelling, there was intense jostling, which led to the breakage of a gate leading to the balcony of the cinema hall. Revathi and Sritej had collapsed in the crowd, owing to suffocation. Police personnel intervened to help the mother-son duo and attempted to resuscitate them before rushing them to a hospital. 
While 35-year-old Revathi died as a result of the stampede, her son remains in a critical condition. According to the police, they had made multiple attempts to inform Allu Arjun and his team about the mishap outside the cinema hall, but the actor had reportedly agreed to leave only after the screening ended. Finally, police say, it took the direct intervention of a top police official to ensure Arjun's departure from the venue. The police official had demanded that Allu Arjun leave the premises and had made suitable arrangements for the smooth passage of the actor's vehicles. 
Allu Arjun's expresses condolence; Bereaved family files case
After the mishap, Allu Arjun posted a video on social media expressing his condolences to the bereaved family, and offering support. "Deeply heartbroken by the tragic incident at Sandhya Theatre. My heartfelt condolences go out to the grieving family during this unimaginably difficult time. I want to assure them they are not alone in this pain and will meet the family personally. While respecting their need for space to grieve, I stand committed to extending every possible assistance to help them navigate through this challenging journey," read his post. 
While many came in support of the actor and pointed out that it was not his fault, there was also sharp criticism directed at him for not apologizing for the incident. Many had also pointed out how Arjun chose to wear a shirt that carried insignia linked to his film Pushpa-2, and indulged in promotional activities even amid such a situation. He had also pledged to donate Rs. 25 lakh and cover medical expenses for Revathi's son, who continues to remain in a critical condition at the time of writing (December 23rd).
Based on the complaint of the bereaved family, Hyderabad Police filed a case against the actor, his private security team, and the management of the Sandhya Theatre where the stampede took place.

On Friday, December 13th, Hyderabad Police arrested Allu Arjun on charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder and voluntarily causing hurt or grievous hurt under Sections 105 and 118 respectively of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (BNS).
A local court remanded Arjun to 14 days in judicial custody. However, his lawyers moved the Telangana High Court and secured interim bail. After spending a night in jail, Arjun was released the following morning.

Allu Arjun's kids whisked away hours after actor's home is vandalised

Telangana Police on Sunday (Dec 22) revealed that actor Allu Arjun refused to exit the Hyderabad theatre on December 4 after he was informed that a woman had died in the chaos outside. Arjun was at the theatre for the premiere of Pushpa 2 and the crowd surged to catch a glimpse of the actor which resulted in a stampede-like situation. 
This comes a day after Arjun said that he had left Sandhya Theatre as soon as he learned “about the problem outside.”
On Sunday, police released footage with timestamps indicating that the actor remained in the theatre until nearly midnight, alleging that he ignored police requests to leave.
During a press conference, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner C V Anand made a video presentation of the sequence of events leading to the stampede and its aftermath.

What happened at the Hyderabad theatre during Pushpa 2 screening
Chikkadapally Zone ACP Ramesh Kumar said the theatre manager had not initially allowed police to speak to Arjun, insisting that he would convey the police’s message to the actor.
According to the ACP, however, as Arjun did not leave, police then approached his manager and told him about the death of the woman and the critical injuries suffered by her nine-year-old son. But the manager also did not heed their request, the officer said.
“When we finally managed to go near Arjun and informed him about the woman’s death and the condition of the boy, as well as the chaos outside, he still refused to leave, saying he would go after watching the movie,” the ACP said.

Close to midnight, as the situation outside the theatre turned more chaotic with fans pushing each other to catch a glimpse of the star, the DCP and ACP forced their way inside and told the actor to leave. “The actor did not heed police requests to leave so that the situation could be controlled. Doesn’t this video footage make it clear what transpired? Police officers, even seniors, faced several challenges to approach the actor and get him to leave,” the Commissioner said.
The footage was reportedly acquired from various sources, including social media and put together.
He also said Arjun’s security pushed and shoved people, including policemen.
“I take this opportunity to warn the bouncers hired by celebrities that they will be held accountable and responsible for their behaviour. I am issuing a stern warning to the bouncers and the agencies employing them that if any one of them touches or pushes a policeman in uniform or common citizens, strict action will be taken against them. We have seen how the bouncers behaved at the Sandhya Theatre, pushing and shoving people, even policemen on duty there… The celebrities are also responsible for the behaviour of the bouncers they hire,” the Commissioner said.
“We are taking legal advice on how to take this case forward,” he said.

On Monday (Dec 23), Naveen Yerneni, the producer, visited the KIMS Hospital to meet the eight-year-old&nbsp;Sri Teja, the son of the deceased woman Revathi. The minor is currently admitted to&nbsp;the hospital.

Expressing his condolences for the tragic accident, Yerneni handed over a cheque to the family of the victim.

The attackers demanded Rs 1 crore compensation for the family of 35-year-old woman named Revathi, who died in the stampede on December 4 at the iconic Sandhya Theatre, where Allu Arjun had arrived to attend the premiere of his film, Pushpa 2: The Rule. The Pushpa 2 stampede controversy is getting bigger with every passing day. On Sunday (Dec 22), actor Allu Arjun's Hyderabad residence was attacked by a group of individuals. 
It has been reported that the miscreants threw stones at the actor's home and vandalised the property. Several videos of the incident have gone viral. As per Jubilee Hills Police, quoted by ANI, six members of the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OU-JAC) pelted stones at the actor's residence. However, no complaint from Allu Arjun's family has been registered as of now.
They also held placards and staged a protest, demanding justice for Revathi, the woman who died in the stampede, and Rs 1 crore in compensation. They were reportedly demanding that the actor should take care of Revathi's family expenses. 
According to other sources, tomatoes were thrown at the residence, and protesters even vandalised the flower pots inside. A video showed protesters shouting and damaging the things at the actor's house.

Addressing the media, Arjun looked emotional as he talked about the claims stating him responsible for the heartbreaking stampede that happened&nbsp;on Dec 4 at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad after the actor's surprise appearance.

Allu Arjun's press meet comes hours after CM Reventh Reddy claimed that the actor attended the screening even after the police denied the&nbsp;permission. He also alleged that despite being informed about the stampede and&nbsp;the death of a woman Revathi, the actor refused to leave the theatre. 
 
Saying that a lot of "misinformation" has been spread, the actor revealed that he has been taking hourly updates about the 8-year-old stampede victim Sri Teja.

The actor said, as quoted by ANI,&nbsp;"It is a very unfortunate incident. It is completely an accident. My condolences to the family. I am taking updates every hour about the condition of the child (hospitalised). His condition is improving, it is very good. There is a lot of misinformation, false allegations are being made. I don't want to blame any department or politician. My character is being assassinated."

Indirectly addressing the mention of the stampede and the allegations levelled&nbsp;against him in the Telangana Assembly, Arjun said that this press meeting is only to address the ''lot of miscommunication, misinformation and wrong allegations'' that have been spread.&nbsp;

"I am not here to blame anybody, or any political party. The main reason for the press meet is that there is a lot of miscommunication, misinformation and wrong allegations. I am feeling extremely humilated by the character assassination. I have been here for 20 years and I have earned this respect and credibility. It has been sabotaged in one day," he said.&nbsp;

Hinting at Reventh's claim, Arjun said that he was not aware of the death until the next day.&nbsp;&nbsp;"I was informed that it was overcrowded and asked to leave. I did so immediately. No officials told me or came to me and told me anything. It was only in the morning that I got the information that the lady died, and it was unfortunate."

Arjun also said, "I only had the best intentions. I left my two kids behind, who are of the same age as the child who was injured. I could not visit the injured child because a case was already filed against me. I wanted to do it. That's why I left a video message. I asked my father, producers and my director Sukumar to go check."
