<p>Actor Dhanush and filmmaker Aishwarya&nbsp;have officially filed for divorce. The couple began legal proceedings for their divorce almost two years after&nbsp;announcing their separation in January 2022.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On Monday, the poster for the film was released, giving the first look at the veteran actor. On Monday, the poster for the film was released, giving the first look at the veteran actor. Lyca Productions shared the poster on their Twitter handle with the caption: "Everyone’s favourite BHAI is back in Mumbai. For the unversed, the movie marks the return of Aishwarya in the director's chair after an eight-year gap. Add to that a couple of contenders in Madurantakan (actor Rahman) as well as Periya Pazhuvettaraiyar (R Sarathkumar) and we have our very own 'Game of Thrones'.&nbsp;</p>

Comparisons with a movie like Bahubali is natural in this case but the loud bravado is mostly missing and is replaced with the study of human ambition.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Karthi plays the role of Aditha’s trusted lieutenant Vandiyathevan and it is through the eyes of this character that the audience is introduced to the world of 'Ponniyin Selvan'. The actor brings a certain mischief and playfulness to the character which instantly makes him a favourite among the audience. Vikram brings out an emotional side in the hot-tempered Aditha while Jayam Ravi takes some time but ultimately settles down well as the regal and much-loved Arunmozhi.&nbsp;</p>

Aishwarya plays the complicated antagonist to perfection, and she will&nbsp;surely play a huge part in the sequel, but&nbsp;it is Trisha who shines thanks to the wit and confidence she brings to Kundavai.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The rest of the supporting cast also impresses with Jayram playing Vaishnavite priest Azhwarkadiyan Nambi (Jayram) and R Sarathkumar playing Periya Pazhuvettaraiyar deserving the most appreciation. Cinematographer Ravi Varman’s frames breathe life into the beauty and extravagance of the empire while also providing a unique insight into the battle scenes. Add to that AR Rahman’s engaging background music and songs and the audience are given a film which truly feels like a magnum opus.&nbsp;</p>

The elaborate sets and picturesque locations provide the perfect backdrop for the clash of kings, but it is ultimately human emotions that are laid bare on the screen. <p>Pictures from his birthday surfaced on the internet as daughter-in-law Aishwarya posted some photos. In one picture, Aishwarya can be seen with Amitabh and her daughter Aaradhya. It was captioned, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAREST Dadaji-PA. MUCH LOVE, GOOD HEALTH, PEACE AND HAPPINESS ALWAYS... and your Blessings Always.”</p>

<p>Veteran Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan took to his personal blog post to &quot;rubbish&quot; and call out against copyright laws in India that put&nbsp;a cap on his late father, Harivanshrai Bachchan&#39;s literary works to belong to Amitabh as private property.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to The Copyright Act, 1957, all&nbsp;literary, dramatic, musical and artistic works of a public figure can remain as a private property of the family only till 60 years after the person&#39;s death. As Amitabh&#39;s father, Dr Harivanshrai Bachchan, a known Hindi poet died in January 2003, his works will&nbsp;belong to the public domain and could be used without permission after 60 years.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In his public outcry against the Act, Amitabh wrote: &quot;I oppose, disagree, lament, dispute, be&nbsp;in variance of, in vehement loud screams of voice&quot; over the cap. He challenged the Act and wrote,&nbsp;&ldquo;So who designed 60 years ? why 60 why not 61 , or why not perpetuity?&rdquo;</p>

<p>Amitabh added:&nbsp;&ldquo;...So what gets left as natural heir by Father Dr Harivansh Rai Bachchan, after his passing passed 60 years, belongs no longer to his domain or possessive copyright as willed .. but becomes for the entire Universe to tread, scratch, mutilate, use in commercial consideration on their own creative discretion .. ???</p>
