<p>Directed by &nbsp;Andy Serkis, the live-action film will be releasing in both English and Hindi versions. Some of the biggest names of Bollywood have lent their voices to the Hindi version. On Sunday night Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor interacted and posed for photos with stars Christian Bale and Frieda Pinto- who feature in the Hollywood version of the film at the premiere of the film.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Pinto, who plays the part of Messua- Mowgli`s human mother- said that during the South Africa leg of their shoot, Andy had told her to play her part in Hindi too."So for me to go to South Africa and actually work with fellow actors all speaking in Hindi, and all the other things I associate with India came to life with this movie," she further said, while describing her journey with the movie.</p>

<p>Walking down the memory lane, Pinto recalled how one would watch `The Jungle Book` in Hindi every Sunday when it aired on Doordarshan. "There was so much of human life in the village that was captured in that version, and I have not seen that version anywhere else," she added. Pinto even credited Andy for making this film an "ode to India".</p>

<p>The director, earlier in the day, spoke about how the film is closest to Rudyard Kipling's book. "I am just thrilled beyond belief that we are bringing the film back to its roots to tell this story, interpretation of which has never been seen in a country that inspired... It would have not happened if not for Netflix. The tone of this story is much closer to Rudyard Kipling`s book than other versions. It was very important for me to make the film which is very closely linked to Indian culture," Andy said.<br />
The world premiere also saw the unveiling of the Hindi trailer of the much- anticipated movie. &nbsp;The lead of the film, Rohan Chand, also made an appearance.</p>

<p>One of the highlights of the event was Anil Kapoor and Andy Serkis- both of whom are voicing Baloo in their respective languages- mimicking a bear while looking at each other.</p>

<p>The casting for both the English as well as the Hindi version is quite interesting. Anil Kapoor has lent his voice for the ever-so-friendly character of Baloo and Abhishek Bachchan plays Bagheera, the black panther. Kareena, on the other hand, dubbed for the giant python Kaa, Jackie Shroff is Shere Khan. Madhuri Dixit joins the jungle as the character of Nisha, who is the wolf mother to Mowgli.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, the English voice cast includes Benedict Cumberbatch as Shere Khan, Cate Blanchett as the snake Kaa, director Andy Serkis as the voice of the bear Baloo, and Christian Bale as Bagheera the panther. The English cast also stars Naomie Harris, Peter Mullan, and Matthew Rhys. Based on Rudyard Kipling`s classic novel `The Jungle Book`, the movie will stream on Netflix on December 7.</p>

<p>According to a source quoted in a report published in a tabloid: "Shonali met with Abhishek recently on the sets of Manmarziyan and shared the idea with him. He liked it and she will be giving him the final narration soon. If he comes on board, Priyanka and he will play parents to the young protagonist casting for which is currently underway. Meanwhile, Shonali is working on the script and hopes to start shooting by the year-end."</p>

As the entire country is collectively demanding strict punishment against the perpetrators, film celebrities have also expressed anguish and anger at the recent incidents of rape and have demanded swift action against the culprits.<br />

<p>In Unnao, a teen rape survivor claimed BJP MP Kuldeep Singh Sengar had raped her and the death of her father in police custody. The Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government has filed a first information report (FIR) against Sengar.<br />

In Kathua, an eight-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by six men who had held her in captivity in a small temple village for a week in January. She was drugged so that she could be sexually assaulted again before being bludgeoned to death.<br />

Noted screenwriter Javed Akhtar said it was high time that people came forward in support of women rights.<br />
<br />
"All those who wish justice for women should stand up and raise their voices against the rapists and their protectors in Unnao and Kathua.<br />

"In Unnao, the brother of the alleged rapist is arrested for beating the father of the rape victim which caused his death. So far police have not taken any action in the rape case. The MLA is walking free and has the audacity to call the victim and her family 'lowly people'," he wrote.</p>

<p>Dabboo Ratnani&#39;s 2018 calendar is out and it has half of Bollywood featured in it. From Shah Rukh Khan to Amitabh Bachchan to Kajol to Alia Bhatt- a host of Bollywood A listers&nbsp;feature in the calendar.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The launch event was a starry event as Dabboo, his wife Manisha and their three kids played host to stars who came to admire the stunning photographs. Making her debut in the calendar this year, Miss World Manushi Chhillar also attended the event dressed in a sequined mini-dress. The beauty queen posed for photos with the legendary Rekha.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Abhishek Bachchan, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Evelyn Sharma, Anupam Kher were also seen at the event.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A 29-year-old man from Andhra Pradesh has claimed that he is actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan&#39;s son.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Sangeeth Kumar, who adds Rai after his middle name, claims that Aishwarya is his mother, and gave birth to him in 1988 through IVF.&nbsp;<br />

&ldquo;I was born to her by IVF in London in 1988. I was brought up in Chodavaram from age three to 27. I was with my grandmother Brinda Krishnaraj Rai&#39;s family at the age of one and two in Mumbai. My grandfather Krishnaraj Rai died in April 2017 (March), and my uncle&#39;s name in Aditya Rai,&rdquo; Sangeet told media in an interaction in Mangaluru.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Sangeeth also claims that Aishwarya is separated from her husband Abhishek Bachchan and now wants her to come and stay with him in Mangaluru. &quot;My mother got married in 2007 with Abhishek Bachchan and she is separated, living alone. I want my mom to come and live with me in Mangaluru. It&rsquo;s already 27 years since I separated from my family, I miss her a lot. I don&rsquo;t want to go to Vishakapatnam, at least I want my mother&rsquo;s number so that I&rsquo;ll be free,&rdquo; he said.<br />

Incidentally, while he claims to be Aishwarya&#39;s son, he doesn&#39;t have any document to prove it. Sangeeth claims his relatives have destroyed all the relevant documents and photos that would connect him to Aishwarya.&nbsp;</p>

29-year-old man claims Aishwarya Rai is his mother, wants her to stay with him in Mangaluru

<p>Gauri Khan&#39;s designer store had the Bachchans as visitors on the last day of 2017. Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan went to visit their good friend Gauri at her store which is located in Juhu.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
The couple was dressed in casuals. While Aishwarya wore a white tee and distressed denim with a black jacket, her husband Abhishek wore a white sweatshirt and cotton trousers. Gauri wore military print pants with a white top and a jacket.</p>

The official poster of Abhishek Bachchan's upcoming film has been released. Abhishek Bachchan tweeted the poster of his upcoming movie 'Paltan' on June 16. Abhishek Bachchan has worked with JP Dutta before in 'LOC Kargil' and 'Umrao Jaan'. The first look of the film has army men and rustic background.
