Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao's film titled 'Stree', goes on floor today

Bollywood actors Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao will next be seen in a horror comedy titled "Stree".

The film went on floors today and acclaimed actor Rajkummar Rao shared the title of the film in a tweet. 

He posted a photo of the film's clapboard and wrote: "We have a title! Shoot starts on our horror-comedy #Stree. Exciting schedule ahead! @ShraddhaKapoor Directed by Amar Kaushik, Written by Raj&DK, Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Raj&DK."


The buzz around the film had started since January 8 when Shraddha and Rajkummar had shared an image from their script reading session teasing fans about the title of the film.

Sharing the image, Shraddha wrote: “But..... what’s the title? Readings with the absolutely fantastic @RajkummarRao Horror-comedy time!”


Shraddha Kapoor will also be seen opposite Prabhas in Sujeeth’s "Saaho" --  a trilingual in which Shraddha will essay the role of Prabhas’ lady love.

She will also be seen opposite her "Haider" co-star Shahid Kapoor in "Batti Gul Meter Chalu" which is slated to release on August 31. 

Rajkummar Rao, on the other hand, is currently basking in the success of his 2017 film "Newton" which was India's official entry to Oscars 2018.

He will also be seen in Atul Manjrekar’s "Fanne Khan" alongside Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor. The movie will release on Eid 2018 and will clash with Salman Khan’s "Race 3".
