<p>In the shocking revelations, Esther Crawford, a product manager at Twitter who was fired following Musk’s takeover, claimed the ‘X’ owner to be driven by instinct, not data. She also claimed that Musk was always surrounded by sycophants and ‘yes men’, who always seemed to agree to whatever Musk suggested.</p>

<p>In a lengthy post on X, Crawford wrote, “I disagree with many of his decisions and am surprised by his willingness to burn so much down, but with enough money and time, something new and innovative may emerge."</p>

<p>"At times it felt like the inner circle was too zealous and fanatical in their unwavering support of everything he said," Crawford added.</p>

<p>In her X post, Crawford mentioned that the employees at the company would always fear being called into meetings with Musk, especially when they were supposed to deliver some negative news.</p>

<p>"The challenge is his personality and demeanor can turn on a dime going from excited to angry," she wrote.</p>

<p>She also mentioned that more than anything else, Musk would rely on the feedback coming from Twitter polls and some random sources. The X owner would never pay heed to genuine feedback coming from employees and backed by strong data, she claimed.</p>

<p>At least eight people were killed and a dozen others injured following a silo blast at an agricultural co-operative in southern Brazil. At least one person is missing, the administration of Parana state said in a statement on Thursday (July 27).</p>

<p>Jose Ricken, president of Parana's farm cooperative group OCEPAR, affirmed that this was an isolated accident and no such incident was reported from the area for a “very long time.”</p>

<p>C.Vale confirmed a similar explosion took place in the area back in 1993.</p>

<p>Acting Parana Governor Darci Piana promptly travelled to Palotina, a city of approximately 35,000 people, along with state secretaries. Their primary objective is to oversee the ongoing rescue operations and extend support to the affected families.</p>

<p>Malik Mohd Ahmad Khan, while responding to a question asked by Hamid Mir, said, “Yes, and it (smuggling) is very scary.”</p>

<p>“We were stopped at the gate by immigration officials and CISF personnel. They did not give any reason and claimed they were merely acting on the government’s instructions,” Coach Raghvendra Singh was quoted as saying by the Indian Express.</p>

<h2><strong>China issued stapled visas to&nbsp;athletes from Arunachal</strong></h2>

<p>The controversy erupted after Beijing issued stapled, not stamped, visas to Indian athletes hailing from Arunachal Pradesh, who were to participate in the wushu (martial art) championship in China.</p>

<p>The athletes applied for a Chinese visa on July 16. The applications of all athletes were processed in time and stamped visas were issued subsequently barring applications from three Arunachal athletes -- Nyeman Wangsu, Onilu Tega and Mepung Lamgu.</p>

<p>They were first asked to resubmit their applications and later were issued stapled visas on Wednesday (July 26).</p>

<h2><strong>India calls the decision ‘unacceptable’</strong></h2>

<p>India’s Ministry for External Affairs (MEA) called the decision by China “unacceptable”, adding that “India reserves the right to suitably respond to such actions”.&nbsp;</p>

This is unacceptable and we have lodged our strong protest with the Chinese side, reiterating our consistent position on the matter,” he said.</p>

<p>Military spokesperson Medel Aguilar later said that he was not aware of the white papers, adding that what Brawner said was based on the “informal” talks that he had with the Chinese envoy.</p>

<p>China’s offer comes at a time when Manila has been increasingly accusing Chinese forces of displaying aggression in the South China Sea.</p>

<p>China shares maritime disputes with several nations in the South China Sea, including the Philippines, while showing no regard for a 2016 Arbitral Tribunal ruling which declared China’s claims in the region totally baseless.</p>

<p>While Brawner failed to confirm whether or not a go-ahead would be given to the Chinese proposal, he made it clear that no such exercise would take place in the South China Sea.</p>

<p>A fresh spell of violence was reported in India’s northeastern state of Manipur early Wednesday as an intense gunfight between security forces and armed groups turned the town of Moreh into a war zone.</p>

<p>A raging mob in the Indian town located on the Myanmar border burnt down 30 houses and shops that were left abandoned since ethnic violence in the state emerged initially in the early days of May.</p>

<p>Times of India reported that the mob gathered in the area at 9:30 am IST, and they spent their next three hours torching and burning down the houses and shops. Even a guest house owned by the Forest Department was damaged.</p>
