According to New York Times, the “Marscopter” – a helicopter designed similar to Ingenuity – will be used in the upcoming mission along with NASA’s Perseverance rover to Mars.

Initially, the mission was supposed to use a rover built by ESA to collect the rocks and bring them back to the rocket. However, due to space constraints, they have decided to use the helicopter which will enable them to transport the samples better and without adding more weight.

The Perseverance remains the first choice for the mission, but the helicopters will provide more support, according to the NYT report. The trip back to space will most likely take place in 2033.

With the changes in the mission, it will also need just one lander instead of two and that has simplified it quite a bit. “All I can say right now is the obvious,” said Jeff Gramling, director for the Mars Sample Return program at NASA. “One lander certainly is much less costly than two.”

“It is a matter for the presiding officers of the Houses to enforce section 42.”

“We have to consider its potential risk for pilots. We can’t put it into use unless the system reaches 100 per cent accuracy,” a Nanjing-based aviation expert said according to the SCMP report.

“It’s going to get worse. And I think that we will be updating it, maybe even for weeks to come ... There are still so many people unaccounted for. And in this area, it’s going to be a hard task to get a firm number of folks unaccounted for,” Beshear said, according to a Reuters report.

Till now, 25 people have been confirmed dead, including&nbsp;four young siblings who were swept away from their parents by the current. The bodies were found in Breathitt County.

&nbsp;“There could be more. We just don’t know. There are areas that we still can’t access. It’s hard to explain how much water. It flooded places where it has never ever flooded,” coroner Hargis Epperson told New York Times.

Hundreds of anti-government protesters on July 9 stormed the then President Rajapaksa’s residence in central Colombo’s high-security Fort area after breaking the barricades, as they demanded his resignation over the island nation’s worst economic crisis in recent memory.

Amidst the unprecedented anti-government protests, Rajapaksa fled the country on July 13 to the Maldives and then to Singapore from where he emailed his resignation letter.

The Superintendent of Police in charge of the Colombo Central Crimes Investigation Division handed over the money to Fort Magistrate’s Court on Friday as per its order made on Thursday, New First, an online portal, reported.

Magistrate Thilina Gamage said there is reasonable suspicion as to why the officer in charge (OIC) of the Fort Police failed to produce the money for three weeks.

The Magistrate also said that the court was not aware of any special circumstances for the money originally given to the Fort Police, to be produced via a Special Police Unit from Slave Island.

Magistrate ordered the Inspector General of Police to immediately investigate the delay in producing the money and submit a report to the court.
