7 Most Evil Characters in Game of Thrones, Ranked

Most characters in GOT are layered and complex, but not Ramsay Bolton. He is pure evil, cold-blooded, and vicious. Ramsay debuts in Season 3 and dies in Season 6.

One of the most detested characters in GOT was Joffrey, son of Cersei and Robert. He is a vicious and immature boy who abuses his power when he becomes the King of the Seven Kingdoms.

Tywin Lannister is an old vicious man who ordered many of his soldiers to torture and killed the Targaryens, only to keep his own family in power.

Viserys Targaryen sells his sister Daenerys to a warlord before threatening to cut an unborn child out of her stomach. He often threatens as well as violently puts his hands on Daenerys.

The most despicable characters in Westeros don't hold a candle to Walder Frey. The cowardly, treacherous, opportunistic lord of House Frey is best remembered for his role in "The Rains of Castamere".

The High Sparrow's sadistic and controlling moral policing was despised by everyone. So much so, that at one point we all felt sympathetic towards Cersei Lannister.

Cersei is the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. She is a cruel, domineering, selfish, and short-sighted woman who only cares about her children and brother/lover, Jaime.

Thailand Police have concluded their investigation into the country’s “cyanide killer”, a woman who is accused of the murder of at least 14 people. The authorities have termed her as the country’s worst-ever serial killer. Thirty-six-year-old Sararat Rangsiwuthporn was arrested in April after families of numerous alleged victims came forward.

Between 2015 and 2023, she killed people in eight provinces by mixing cyanide into their food, according to Thai police.

Most of the victims that she targeted were people to whom Sararat owed money, while others were people she stole from, police said, adding that one of her poisoning targets survived. Cyanide is a rapid-acting deadly chemical which interferes with the body’s ability to use oxygen.

Thai ‘serial killer’: How police arrested Sararat

Sararat first came under suspicion after the death of a friend while they were on a trip together in April, as per BBC. Soon after this incident, police began making inquiries after the victim’s family blamed Sararat.

Police said Sararat and her friend Siriporn Khanwong went to Ratchaburi province a couple of weeks ago where they participated in a Buddhist protection ritual at a river.

Her body was found without her phone, her bags and her money. The autopsy report showed traces of cyanide, as per BBC.

Khanwong’s mother said she suspected Sararat as she had recently made friends with her wealthy daughter. She further claimed that she approached the deputy police chief directly with her concerns as Sararat’s former husband is a police officer.

Police then compiled a list of around a dozen other individuals, between the age of 33 and 44, who passed away after being in contact with Sararat.

The families of victims said jewellery and money, anywhere from 60,000 to 300,000 baht was missing from their bodies and bank accounts, as per BBC.

As per BBC, the Thai police think Sararat’s modus operandi is to befriend wealthy people and then convince them to join her on a trip or for a meal. He would murder her victims by giving them cyanide pills, either as herbal medicine or mixing it in their food and drink.

Who is Sararat Rangsiwuthaporn? Thai 'serial killer' accused of murdering people with cyanide

From preaching to men and mansplaining women, Andrew Tate has now dragged his mother into his controversial view on the ever-going man-woman debate. His misogynistic mindset took a step further this time as he made derogatory remarks about his own mother.

The controversial influencer portrayed his father as a chess prodigy, dismissing his mother as a mere “dinner lady”. In the past, Tate has many derogatory and ill-informed remarks about women and about what men “actually” want from women. His fame skyrocketed due to his contentious and hyper-masculine worldview.

While much is known about his father, Emory Tate, an accomplished chess player with an International Masters's title, very little information is available about his mother, Eileen.

This was the first time when Tate talked commented on her mother publicly. In a recent tweet, he called his father as a genius chess player and CIA operative while calling out his mother as a “dinner lady” with “absolute zero in common”. He went on to place his father on a pedestal, claiming that his mother only provided meals and kept the house clean, while remaining silent most of the time. He concluded that he loved his mother, reinforcing his distorted perspective on what men supposedly desire.

Andrew Tate uses mother to tell what ‘literally all men want’, gets called out for misogyny

A Thai passenger’s leg got amputated at an airport after getting trapped in a movable walkway on Thursday, officials said. The 57-year-old Thai woman was due to board a morning flight from Bangkok’s Don Mueang airport to Nakhon Si Thammarat province when the incident happened at Terminal 2.

A medical team was sent immediately to the incident site and they eventually had to remove her left leg from above the knee, according to the airport’s officials.

“On behalf of the Don Mueang international airport, I’d like to express my deepest condolences regarding the accident,” airport director Karun Thanakuljeerapat told a news conference. “I’d like to insist that we will ensure that no such accident happens again.”

He said the airport would be fully responsible for the woman’s medical costs and would be open to negotiations regarding other compensation.

The medical team at the hospital informed Karun that they could not reattach her leg, but the woman requested to be transferred to another hospital to assess the possibility, he said.

Images of the woman being trapped in the walkway were soon shared online. In the pictures, she can be seen with her leg trapped beneath the belt at the end of the walkway as she is assisted by airport authorities and staff. A suitcase lying near her was missing two wheels, and the yellow comb-like plates were seen broken off from where they typically cover the edge of the belt where the moving walkway ends.

Karun said the suitcase wheels were found underneath the belt, but it was unclear how it might relate to the accident. He said walkways at the airport were checked daily, with an additional monthly inspection. He said the walkway had been closed and a team of engineers was inspecting it to determine the cause of the incident.

Here are the top six chicken dishes from around the world, compiled by Taste Atlas.

Jujeh Kabab is a staple of Iranian cuisine. It has two popular variations. One uses boneless chicken, while the other is prepared with meat left on the bone.

It is a communal dish that is cooked tableside, on large cast iron skillets. Typical elements of the dish included chicken cuts, cabbage, carrots, chilli peppers, and sweet potatoes.

The dish reportedly originated in Delhi during the 1950s when Kundan Lal Gujral opened his restaurant, Moti Mahal. It has now become a staple dish at most Indian restaurants.

It is a dish consisting of boneless chicken, cut into smaller pieces and marinated in yoghurt and traditional Indian spices like turmeric, cumin, coriander, chilli, garlic, and ginger.

The dish consists of chicken cuts, preferably bone-in pieces such as thighs and drumsticks, which are marinated in spices, and then shortly braised before being fried until golden and crispy.

This dish consists of a chicken that is fried especially in a traditional pan called tapa. One should flatten the chicken on a pan by pressing it down with a weight.

The Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) has raised concerns that the implementation of the Delhi Motor Vehicle Aggregator and Delivery Service Provider Scheme could adversely impact the livelihoods of gig workers across the national capital. This new scheme was launched by the Delhi government and approved by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal last month.

A draft policy paper issued by the Delhi government proposes allowing only electric bike taxis in the city, and a phrased transition for delivery fleets and four-wheeler taxi aggregators. The draft Delhi Motor Vehicle Aggregator and Delivery Service Provider Scheme, 2023 issued in May, is expected to be finalised by July-end.

The scheme includes provisions like mandatory panic buttons in taxis, integration with emergency response number ‘112’ and phase-wise transition to electric vehicles (EV) to regulate cab aggregators and delivery service providers.

The IAMAI, a not-for-profit organisation representing the digital services industry with over 500 Indian and multinational corporations as its members, support the country’s EV industry and recognises the importance of pragmatic policies that systematically target environmental issues.

"However, it is crucial to acknowledge the present realities of the EV ecosystem. The EV conversion targets prescribed in the scheme appear to be based on assumptions of ecosystem maturity rather than evidence-based research," it said in a statement.

"It is imperative the government recognise that the paucity of charging stations and battery-swapping infrastructure in the capital make the scheme's ambitious targets virtually impossible to meet," it added.

The statement noted that "aggressive EV transition mandates" for aggregators and delivery service providers could lead to significant disruptions to business activity and livelihoods of gig workers in the capital.

"In particular, the EV conversion targets prescribed pose a significant risk to gig workers who have heavily invested their capital, often through loans, in internal combustion engine (ICE) powered vehicles. Moreover, the extremely high costs associated with owning an EV make it a commercially unfeasible option for most gig workers in the capital," it said.

The statement also said that the target of 1000 per cent electrification of bike taxis in Delhi right from the outset also raises serious concerns. It is because the lack of a moratorium for bike taxis could render numerous gig workers without work overnight.

The IAMAI also recommended an escalation mechanism prior to the imposition of penalties as it would ensure a fair and transparent process for all stakeholders involved.
