As per reports, Bella Montoya suddenly woke up during her funeral ceremony and started knocking from inside her coffin after spending five hours in it at a funeral parlour located in Babahoyo, around 129 miles southwest of Quito, on June 9 (Friday).

The health ministry of Ecuador stated that Montoya died from an ischaemic stroke on Friday after spending a week in an intensive care unit at the Martin Icaza Hospital.

The teachers in schools in Switzerland have raised alarm about many children coming to class wearing diapers because they have not been trained on how to use the toilet.

“Kids are going to school as early as four years old now, so yeah, you might actually find some still in diapers,” said Dagmar Rosler, head of the Swiss Federation of Teachers, while speaking to the Swiss newspaper 20 Minuten. “When 11-year-olds come to school in diapers, that’s a worrying trend,” she added.

Many children have become so much accustomed to wearing diapers that they are not interested in changing the convenient but unsanitary method. As per Mayo Clinic, the average age of children who receive toilet training is between 18 months and 24 months, however many parents have been avoiding the training session.

The teachers in schools in Switzerland have raised alarm about many children coming to class wearing diapers because they have not been trained on how to use the toilet.

India: Fresh violence breaks out in Manipur, mobs indulge in arson and vandalism

A man, went on a violent shooting rampage, killing his estranged wife, her daughter and three other kids, days after the woman had warned a court about him possessing “50 to 60 guns” and was afraid he would “get drunk and shoot me.”

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's officials, speaking to TV station Local 3, said that 48-year-old Gary Barnett, who was the owner of the house in Marion County where the shooting took place, was among the three adults who were rescued from the home that was on fire.

Sheriff Bo Burnett said that Barnett, who was working in the machine tool industry, had shot and killed his wife Regina along with her daughter Britney and two of her grandchildren. Then, the man turned the gun on himself.

'He will get drunk and shoot me'

Regina, who was working at the Seymour handle factory, had earlier filed for a restraining order against her estranged husband around a month ago, as per the court records.

In the documents submitted to the court, Regina had written, “My soon to be (ex) husband threatened to shoot me and he verbally abuses me every day. He also threatened to shoot my dog.”

He added, “He also has anywhere from 50 to 60 guns in his room. I am afraid he will get drunk and shoot me.”

Another adult, who remains unnamed, was found inside the home which was set on fire at some point of time during the shooting, also suffered injuries and was flown to a local hospital.

Local reports stated that the surviving adult, who was not identified, suffered many gunshot wounds, stated the local reports. The names and ages of the three children were not revealed by the police.

Sheriff Burnett confirmed that the two of the minors who were killed were Regina’s grandchildren.

“It’s a domestic situation, evidently that has been ongoing for a pretty good while,” said Sheriff Burnett, while speaking to WTVC NewsChannel 9.

Initially, the deputies reached the residence after they were informed of a possible shooting, but on reaching the scene, they found the house fully engulfed in flames.
A “no contact order” was approved by a judge against Barnett, in which he was asked to stay away from his wife. The order was still in effect when the shooting occurred.
The authorities are making autopsy reports on all the victims and Barnett in Nashville.
A man, went on a violent shooting rampage, killing his estranged wife, her daughter and three other kids, days after the woman had warned a court about him possessing “50 to 60 guns” and was afraid he would “get drunk and shoot me.” Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's officials, speaking to TV station Local 3, said that 48-year-old Gary Barnett, who was the owner of the house in Marion County where the shooting took place, was among the three adults who were rescued from the home that was on fire. Sheriff Bo Burnett said that Barnett, who was working in the machine tool industry, had shot and killed his wife Regina along with her daughter Britney and two of her grandchildren. Then, the man turned the gun on himself. He also threatened to shoot my dog.” He added, “He also has anywhere from 50 to 60 guns in his room. I am afraid he will get drunk and shoot me.” House set alight amid shooting Another adult, who remains unnamed, was found inside the home which was set on fire at some point of time during the shooting, also suffered injuries and was flown to a local hospital.
A coffee research institute in Brazil, has begun a decisive stage in its two-decade-long project which is aimed at developing varieties of arabica coffee that are naturally decaffeinated. As per the researchers, this development can actually have significant commercial potential.

If the project ends successfully, the varieties achieved in the result can find a market niche in large consuming regions like the United States and Europe, where people are likely to prefer them over the current decaffeinated brands that provide coffee which is produced by chemical or industrial processes.

Researchers start regional field trials

The Instituto Agronomico de Campinas (IAC) is developing the programme. Till now, this leading coffee research centre has provided markets with many of the high-yield coffee plants which have made Brazil a powerhouse in the global market of coffee, as today it supplies more than a third of coffee to the world.

The researchers, working at the IAC, stated that regional field trials are being started by them of some of the varieties which they have developed for several years by crossing different coffee plants which naturally have very low caffeine content. In the process, the researchers used the germplasm bank at their facilities.

This is also likely to benefit the companies that will sell decaffeinated coffee as it will reduce costs since the process of removing caffeine from regular coffee varieties can be skipped by them.

“The results we had so far look promising, we are upbeat,” stated Julio Cesar Mistro, a researcher who is overseeing the project at IAC.

The researchers are planting some of the clones, which they have developed in the centre, in different regions in Brazil. Usually, it takes two to three years for coffee trees to produce their first fruits, so there are still some years left until the researchers can harvest that coffee and test it.

As per the data collected by the National Coffee Association (NCA), 10 per cent of the market in the United States is estimated to consume decaffeinated coffee.

A lot of people drink coffee specifically with the aim to boost energy provided by caffeine, however, some people are intolerant to it, or like to have decaf later in the day to escape potential sleeping disruptions.
