The Israeli army discovered manuals on the dead bodies of Hamas terrorists which showed how they were given orders to execute “problematic” hostages and babies were designated as specific targets during the October 7 attack carried out on Israel.

The document clearly states 'hostage-taking' as the attack's central aim, as reported by Western media outlets. In the document, the attackers have been instructed to ration their food and keep the hostages for a long duration in an enclosed location.

“Kill the problematic and those who post a threat. Gather some of the hostages in the area and use them as cannon fodder, ensuring they are clearly visible,” read the document, written in Arabic.
A “superfog” of smoke along with dense fog led to multiple massive car crashes involving around 158 vehicles on I-55 interstate on Tuesday morning (Oct 24) in which at least seven people were killed in Louisiana, informed the authorities.
At least 25 people suffered injuries and the number of fatalities only increased as the first responders worked towards clearing the crash scenes and searching for victims, said Louisiana State police, in a press release on Monday evening.

The archaeologists unearthed the ruins of a 5,000-year-old tomb in Orkney, which reflected the best construction example of neolithic engineering in northern Britain.

During the excavation, 14 articulated skeletons of women, men and children – two of them positioned in a way as if they were embracing each other – were discovered inside one of the six cells or side rooms.
The tomb has been measuring more than 15m in diameter and includes a stone structure, which can be reached through a long passage which is around seven metres.
Senior curator of prehistory (neolithic) at the National Museums Scotland Dr Hugo Anderson-Whymark along with professor of neolithic archaeology at Cardiff University Vicki Cummings headed the excavation.

Sikh man succumbs to injuries after brutal New York attack, mayor condemns incident

Expect our society to perpetuate gender norms! In fact, we didn't even spare prehistoric times and assumed that men took on the more powerful roles that required excessive physical strength.

In a recent study, the years-long belief that in prehistoric times men were the hunters and women played the gatherers has been challenged.

The research, led by anthropology professor at the University of Delaware Sarah Lacy, suggests that women did not have the physical capability to hunt but likely took part in it.

Study focuses on Paleolithic era

The study's focus was on the Paleolithic era, which spans from around 2.5 million to 12,000 years ago. During the study, very little evidence was found by the researchers which suggested that the roles of men and women were rigidly defined by gender.

Professor Lacy, who has specialised in the health of early humans, entered into a collaboration with Cara Ocobock from the University of Notre Dame, who has been drawing connections between the fossil record and modern-day physiology.

While carrying out the study, the researchers saw scope for challenging the long-held belief regarding gendered division of labour. The researchers questioned why the “cavemen hunt, women gather” theory was accepted so widely. “We have so much evidence that that’s not the case,” Lacy stated while speaking to earth.com

Gender equality in prehistoric times?

A striking image of gender equality was revealed to the researchers while reviewing ancient tools, diets, art, burials, and anatomy.

“People found things in the past and they just automatically gendered them male and didn’t acknowledge the fact that everyone we found in the past has these markers, whether in their bones or in stone tools that are being placed in their burials,” stated Professor Lacy.

“We can’t really tell who made what, right? We can’t say, ‘Oh, only males flintknap,’ because there’s no signature left on the stone tool that tells us who made it,” she added.

Lacy further stated that from the evidence collected so far, there seems to be nearly no difference in the roles assigned to the two genders.

The research further addressed another question, that of whether any physiological barriers prevented women from going hunting.

“When we take a deeper look at the anatomy and the modern physiology and then actually look at the skeletal remains of ancient people, there’s no difference in trauma patterns between males and females, because they’re doing the same activities,” stated Lacy.

In the Paleolithic era, most people survived in small groups. “You live in such a small society. You have to be really, really flexible. Everyone has to be able to pick up any role at any time. It just seems like the obvious thing, but people weren’t taking it that way,” she added.

Two Israeli officials have stated that a USB drive was recovered from the dead body of a Hamas operative by the Israel Defense Forces which contained instructions for creating a “cyanide dispersion device”, as reported by Israel's local media.

The discovery of the cyanide dispersion device was mentioned in detail by two Israeli officials, and a copy of a classified Israeli foreign ministry cable was accessed by the regional media outlet.
“This finding points to an intention by Hamas to use chemical weapons as part of its terror attack against civilians," read the cable claims, as per the media outlet.

As per the media report, it was not from the leaked file if Hamas had an operational intent for using the chemical weapons or a concrete plan or if the terror group was trying to produce the makeshift weapons.

Hamas field manual reveals militant's capabilities, bloody plans A Hamas field manual, which was accessed by The Washington Post, found two weeks ago showed their preparations and illustrated some of its military capabilities. The manual, which was discovered on the body of a Hamas fighter, includes instructions on operating certain weapons, offers tips on how to kill with a knife and identifies vulnerabilities in Israeli military equipment. It appears that the document has been prepared for various units of Hamas’ Izzedine al-Qassam Brigades, which includes engineering, anti-armour, infantry, sniper and tunnel specialists along with what the booklet describes as “shock troops.” “This is a secret military document. It should be kept in a safe place. It is forbidden to move with it except when there are orders,” the first page stated.
