Nine Most Powerful Game of Thrones Characters

Eddard Stark's righteousness brought the Stark's from Winterfell's chills to Kings Landing's heat. He played the Game of Thrones but did not win.

The decision by Lord Varys to take Tyrion Lannister to Daenerys Targaryen had wider consequences. A counsel to many, Varys played the Game of Thrones to make his master win.

There would have been no grand alliance of the Starks, Targaryens, Lannisters and other warring houses if not for the looming threat of annihilation from the Night King.

She dreamt, she suffered, she endured. In the end, well, Sansa held on to the wolf sigil as the only Stark in Winterfell.

The emblem of wit and courage in Westeros, Tyrion of house Lannister paid the debt to the realm with him being the gift. Tyrion symbolised why there is nothing in the world more powerful than a good story.

The hustler-in-chief of Game of Thrones, Arya turned her sufferings into struggles to re-establish the primacy of Stark's in the north.

The illegitimate one had the most powerful story. His tale told the truth that shook the realm. His defining moments in Hardhome, outside Winterfell during Battle of the Bastards and the Long Night have etched him as the best among Westeros.

A glass of wine and Cersei Lannister dropping a killer look was the recipe of phenomenal finnesse of acting that actor Lena Headey injected into Thrones. She did not yield even when the world told her to. She refused to be dictated, an indispensable moment of her 'Power is Power' legacy.

The 'Mother of Dragons' with three full-grown dragons went on to become the most powerful person in Westeros. Her faith in herself gave Thronians their fan-favourite moments despite a controversial conclusion to her character.

Do you know which is the most powerful character in Game of Thrones?

Explained | Daniel Ellsberg's history-defining expose of Pentagon Papers that rocked White House

<p>Over three years after Black US citizen George Floyd's last words 'Let me breathe' became a rallying cry against racism in the United States, it has been revealed that the police in&nbsp;Minneapolis routinely use excessive force and discriminate against Black and Native American people.</p>

<p>The exposé was made by&nbsp;the US Justice Department on Friday after a two-year investigation prompted by the police killing of George Floyd. Shortly after the findings of the investigation were released,&nbsp;President Joe Biden, a Democrat, released a statement calling the report’s findings disturbing.</p>

<p>The president called on the Congress to pass reforms "that increase public trust, combat racial discrimination and thereby strengthen public safety."</p>

<h2><strong>Federal oversight for Minneapolis police department</strong></h2>

<p>Minneapolis Police Department will now be placed under federal oversight that may potentially last for several years, US Attorney General Merrick Garland said while announcing the findings.</p>

<p>A consent decree will be signed between the Minneapolis police department and the Department of Justice, following which&nbsp;a federal judge will oversee the city’s progress in reforming the police department.</p>

Over three years after Black US citizen George Floyd's last words 'Let me breathe' became a rallying cry against racism in the United States, it has been revealed that the police in Minneapolis routinely use excessive force and discriminate against Black and Native American people. The exposé was made by the US Justice Department on Friday after a two-year investigation prompted by the police killing of George Floyd. Shortly after the findings of the investigation were released, President Joe Biden, a Democrat, released a statement calling the report’s findings disturbing. The president called on the Congress to pass reforms "that increase public trust, combat racial discrimination and thereby strengthen public safety." Federal oversight for Minneapolis police department Minneapolis Police Department will now be placed under federal oversight that may potentially last for several years, US Attorney General Merrick Garland said while announcing the findings. A consent decree will be signed between the Minneapolis police department and the Department of Justice, following which a federal judge will oversee the city’s progress in reforming the police department. <p>Scientists have made significant progress in identifying the cause of severe morning sickness in pregnant women.</p>

<p>The cause has been pinpointed at a hormone called GDF15, short for Growth/Differentiation Factor 15.</p>

<p>Nearly two-thirds of pregnant women reportedly experience varying degrees of nausea or vomiting, known as morning sickness,&nbsp;throughout the day.</p>
