Dedicated to Lord Ram, the sixteenth-century temple is located in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu. There are exquisite sculptures on the pillars of the temple depicting the events of Ram's life.

With its stunning environment, peaceful way of life, and rich cultural diversity, it offers visitors a range of attractions to enjoy their New Year's celebration.

Located in Jharkhand state's Simdega, the temple is held as a symbol of reverence and faith. Lord Ram, along with his brother Laxman and wife Sita, spent a few days of his exile here.

Located in Kerala's Thrissur in southern India, the temple is dedicated to Ram and Laxman. Situated atop a 100-foot-high hill, the idol of Rama is a swayambhu (self-born) image, which means no human intervention has ever taken place.

The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is believed to be the site where Ram prayed to Shiva to absolve any sins that he might have committed during his war against the demon-king Ravana in Lanka across the sea.

Located in Jammu, northern India, Raghunath temple was built by the first Dogra ruler, Maharaja Gulab Singh in 1835. The presiding deity in the complex of shrines is Rama – also known as Raghunath, an Avatar of Vishnu.

Apart from Ram Temple set to be inaugurated in January 2024, these temples across India also hold significance for believers of Hindu faith.

Winter is here and intense fog is taking over northern India. Driving safely is not just important but a necessary life skill during this time. Here's how you can drive safely in intense fog.

Make sure that your windshield is clean. Ensure that your windshield wipes work fine, and use them while driving.

Avoid changing lanes and overtaking during fog. If you are supposed to a take left or right, be in that lane from at least a kilometre away.

Keep your speed well within the speed limit. It's not the time to pace your vehicle up.

That's the light you would need for the vision ahead.

Use the right indicator while making turns. Keep your speed within the limit, even if the expressway or road looks empty enough.
