When situation becomes so bad that one who is potentially getting burgled has to put up a note for burglars to help them save efforts, it can surely be said that there's no law and order.

The residents are actually pasting notes on their houses that say "theft has already taken place in this house. Do not waste your effort". Residents in Pundag locality of Ranchi have had to resort to this.

The residents have told the media that in spite of police complaints, nothing has been done. Burglars continue to be a menace.

"A theft took place twice in a month in my house. The thieves took away jewellery worth Rs 1.5 lakh during the second theft," said Rekha Devi, a resident of Bhagwati Nagar in Pundag locality of Ranchi.

Manoj Kumar, another resident of Bhagwati Nagar, said, "On Saturday my family had gone to our in-laws house. We stayed there at night. On Sunday morning our neighbours informed us about a theft in our house. We reached home and found that the thieves had decamped with Rs two lakh cash and jewellery worth Rs one lakh."

Thefts took place in more than six houses at Bhagwati Nagar on Saturday and the thieves took away jewellery worth more than Rs eight lakh.

"Our house has been burgled twice. We have been forced to write slogans to ward off thieves as nothing is left in our house," said Sanjeev Khanna, another resident of Bhagwati Nagar.

Aziz Singhoor, a senior commentator for the Pakistani daily `Roznama Azadi`, has exposed the issuance of licenses by these Chinese ships. Though the Pakistan government has denied this, the Roznama Azadi newspaper and Singhoor are adamant on their stand.

According to Azadi News, at least 2 million people are connected to the fishing business in Gwadar. Their livelihoods depend on day-to-day fishing.

But due to the interference of these factory ships lakhs of local fishermen have been brought to the verge of unemployment, with several families expected to be grossly affected.

The presence of Chinese ships in that area is not only complicating the distribution of fish catches for Pakistani local fishermen but according to activists, they are also threatening the survival of fishermen from the Philippines.

With the Chinese fleets of government-subsidised ships straying into distant waters searching for seafood and the continuously increasing influence yielded by China, this has also become a common point of concern for Hawaii’s commercial fishermen and the US military.

As finance minister, he will have to rein in a budget deficit that ballooned during the coronavirus crisis.

He has also said he will try to change the status quo between the&nbsp;government&nbsp;and&nbsp;Israel's&nbsp;politically powerful ultra-Orthodox minority, which is a mainstay of Netanyahu's outgoing&nbsp;government.

The ultra-Orthodox community has low participation rates in the workforce and relies heavily on&nbsp;government&nbsp;handouts while focusing on religious studies. Lieberman has said he will work to integrate them more into the economy.

Gideon Saar - Justice Minister

Saar was Netanyahu's main rival within Likud, but Netanyahu did his best to keep him out of the spotlight and away from the highest-level portfolios. Frustrated, Saar launched a failed leadership bid then spun off his own party.

As head of the&nbsp;New&nbsp;Hope party, Saar will be bumped up to the justice minister, where he will oversee the legal system and become a member of the security cabinet.

Abbas's small United Arab List will be the first party in an Israeli&nbsp;government&nbsp;to be drawn from&nbsp;Israel's&nbsp;21% Arab minority - Palestinian by culture and heritage, but Israeli by citizenship.

He split with other Arab politicians&nbsp;who&nbsp;prefer to remain outside&nbsp;government&nbsp;and cast aside differences with Bennett and other right-wingers to tip the scales against Netanyahu.

Abbas is expected to serve as a deputy minister in the prime minister's office. He aims to negotiate a big increase in&nbsp;government&nbsp;spending in Arab towns and villages.

But his presence is a potentially destabilising factor. He has been criticised by Palestinians for agreeing to support an Israeli&nbsp;government&nbsp;while Israel continues to occupy the Palestinian territories. Addressing these tensions, Abbas told the Italian daily La Repubblica on Friday: "There will be difficult decisions to be made, including security decisions. Oxygen Express trains have crossed the milestone of delivering 30,000 tonnes of liquid medical oxygen across the country, the railways said on Sunday.

The service was started in the wake of a severe second Covid wave and these trains had started deliveries on April 24 in Maharashtra with a load of 126 tonnes.

So far, the Indian Railways has delivered nearly 30,182 tonnes of liquid medical oxygen (LMO) in more than 1,734 tankers to various states, the national transporter said.

While 421 Oxygen Express trains have completed their journey so far and brought relief to various states, two loaded trains with more than 177 tonnes of LMO in 10 tankers are on their way to their destinations, the railways said in a statement.

Oxygen Express trains have delivered more than 15,000 tonnes of LMO to southern states of the country, it said. 
These trains have delivered more than 3,600, 3,700 and 4,900 tonnes of LMO in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu respectively.

So far, 320 tonnes of LMO has been offloaded in Uttarakhand, 4,941 tonnes in Tamil Nadu, 3,664 tonnes in Andhra Pradesh, 225 tonnes in Punjab, 513 tonnes in Kerala, 2,972 tonnes in Telangana, 38 tonnes in Jharkhand and 480 tonnes in Assam, it said.

International arms control groups are pressing the Russian and American leaders to start a push for new arms control by holding "strategic stability" talks,&nbsp;a series of government-to-government discussions meant to sort through the many areas of disagreement and tension on the national security front.

There also are calls for such consultations to include Europe because the talks could cover a wide range of issues including cyberthreats, space operations and missile defences, in addition to nuclear weapons.

Officials in Moscow and Washington have indicated they see value in strategic stability talks, which probably would not be an arms control negotiation but rather a series of discussions at lower levels aimed at deciding how to organize and prioritize an eventual arms control agenda.

"What we are looking to do is for the two presidents to be able to send a clear signal to their teams on questions of strategic stability so that we can make progress on arms control and other nuclear areas to reduce tension and instability in that aspect of the relationship,"&nbsp;Biden's national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, said last week.

In the past, the US, Europe and Russia shared a mutual understanding of the ways to avoid accidents and miscalculations leading to conflict.

The minesweeper, named "Shahin", is over 33 metres in length and is capable of "detecting and neutralising diverse types of naval mines", the statement said.

"I want to make it clear: NATO is critically important for US interests in and of itself. If there weren't one, we'd have to invent it," he said.

And he stressed once again that Article 5 of the NATO treaty -- the obligation of members to defend one another, once called into question by Trump -- was a "sacred obligation".

The allies were due to agree a statement stressing common ground on securing their withdrawal from Afghanistan, joint responses to cyber-attacks and the challenge of a rising China.

"We're not entering a new Cold War and China is not our adversary, not our enemy," Stoltenberg told reporters as he arrived at NATO headquarters ahead of the leaders.

"But we need to address together, as the alliance, the challenges that the rise of China poses to our security."

Erdogan talks

Looming large at the summit is also the scramble to complete NATO's hasty withdrawal from Afghanistan after Biden surprised partners by ordering US troops home by September 11.

France's President Emmanuel Macron met one-on-one with his Turkish counterpart and fellow ally Recep Tayyip Erdogan ahead of the summit, and Biden was due to meet him later.

On the table will be Ankara's offer to secure Kabul airport after NATO troops leave -- but also concerns in other capitals about Turkey's own aggressive regional policy.&nbsp;

In contrast to Trump, Biden has firmly reasserted American backing for the 72-year-old military alliance -- and his administration has been making a show of consulting more with partners.

"I welcome the fact that we have a president of the United States who is strongly committed to NATO, to North America and Europe, working together in NATO," Stoltenberg said.
