An Atlanta judge, on Monday, sentenced reality TV show star Todd Chrisley to 12 years in prison with 16 months probation and his wife Julie Chrisley to seven years in prison with 16 months probation after they both were found guilty in a federal tax evasion and bank fraud case.&nbsp;The couple's report date is set for January 15, 2023.

According to Insider and Fox 5 Atlanta, Todd was convicted of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, tax evasion fraud and conspiracy to defraud the United States. The couple asked for leniency before the sentencing.&nbsp;In a statement, Todd said that his wife, who is the primary caregiver for their 16-year-old son Grayson and 10-year-old granddaughter Chloe, "should not be punished" to the same extent.

Julie's lawyers have requete the judge to consider&nbsp;a sentence of probation, restitution, and community service for Julie, stating that the reality TV show star had minimal role in the controversy and has no prior convictions.

Chrisley's former accountant,&nbsp;Peter Tarantino, was also found guilty in the case. He has been charged with two counts of willfully filing false tax returns and is expected to serve 36 months in prison, which will begin in May following hip surgery.

In the past, Todd Chrisley has&nbsp;candidly spoken about his family's legal turmoil. During an episode of&nbsp;'Chrisley Confessions'&nbsp;podcast in June, Tod shared that he is disheartened by his family's predicament.

"We wanted to let everyone know that it's a very sad, heartbreaking time for our family right now," Todd said. "But we still hold steadfast in our faith and we trust that God will do what he does because God's a miracle worker -- and that's what we're holding out for."&nbsp;

Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, and Kim Kardashian just have a few weeks left to reach a settlement in their divorce case before it heads to a trial.&nbsp;However, it seems that the rapper and fashion mogul isn't interested in cooperating in the divorce proceedings with the KKW Beauty owner.

The latest reports claim that the 45-year-old has once again skipped the deposition he was supposed to attend to talk things through. And before the trial, he just has one more chance to meet Kim's attorneys in a deposition, which is now scheduled for November 29.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Ye didn't appear at a deposition scheduled for November 16. Due to his absence, the deposition was rescheduled to a later date.

It's unclear why Ye missed the deposition!

Kim first filed for divorce nearly two years ago. A judge has already signed an order, which makes Kim and Kanye legally single, but there are still issues of custody and the division of assets that needs to be resolved.

The former couple can hammer out&nbsp;a settlement agreement before the trial date, i.e. December 14, if both parties cooperate and sit together to discuss what's best for them and their four kids&nbsp;North West, 9, Saint West, 6, Chicago West, 4, and Psalm West, 3.

No-show! Kanye West misses divorce deposition with Kim Kardashian

Jay Leno, the former host of 'The Tonight Show', was discharged from the hospital on Monday. He had suffered serious second-degree burns while working underneath a car in Burbank, California, last week. After being under medical supervision for days, the 72-year-old returned home, looking happy and healthy.

Before leaving the medical facility, he posed for a picture with the hospital staff at the Grossman Burn Center and thanked everyone for taking care of him and sending best wishes. The picture shows&nbsp;visible burn scars on his face, neck and hand.

"After a 10-day stay at the facility, Jay will receive follow-up care at the Grossman Outpatient Burn Clinic for burns to his face, chest and hands he received during a fire at his home garage," Leno's doctors shared in a press release&nbsp;shared with the PA news agency.

"Jay would like to let everyone know how thankful he is for the care he received, and is very appreciative of all of the well wishes. He is looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with his family and friends and wishes everyone a wonderful holiday."

Meanwhile, Dr Peter Grossman also shared that he was very "pleased with Jay’s progress"&nbsp;and he is "optimistic"&nbsp;that the 72-year-old&nbsp;will fully recover soon.

However, according to the court filings, Jane claims that the actress stopped making payments after the initial two instalments.&nbsp;

Jane claims he is now owed $137,000 in principal, $9,814.79 in interest and $2,291.85 in late charges.&nbsp;As part of their agreement, Jane alleged that the actress was supposed to pay 30% of her income every time she received payment of more than $15,000. She was also asked to keep him notified of upcoming professional work.

The 53-year-old Emmy winner crashed her car into a house on August 5 in the Mar Vista neighbourhood of Los Angeles. She breathed her last on August 11.

Following Heche's death, Jane gave a statement to The Daily Mail and offered his "thoughts and prayers", calling her "one of the true talents of her generation".

While speaking to Vanity Fair, he said, "Doing an episode on death and facing your own mortality made me go, ‘Oh God, I’m not ready to go yet.’ I want to sit and be in this space with a greater sense of stillness and gratitude."

“It really triggered something in me to want to take some time off. And since we finished the show, I’ve been completing the things I was already contracted to do. Now when I finish this tour this week, I’m going home, and I’m going to have a good chunk of time off and just simplify. Be with the kids, be with my wife,” he continued.

In the fifth episode of the docuseries, the actor met longevity physician Dr Peter Attia and underwent a series of genetic tests. During which Attia told Hemsworth, "We’ve got every blood test one can get. And you’ve got two copies of APOE4. A set from your mom and a set from your dad." For those uninitiated, APOE4 is the gene that has the strongest correlation to the development of Alzheimer’s disease.

During the episode, Hemsworth also revealed that his grandfather suffers from the disease. "He either doesn’t remember who we are, you know, his grandkids, but also even his own children, for years. It’s heartbreaking," Hemsworth said.

The Chadwick Boseman-starrer film has already overtaken 'Ant-Man' ($518 million), 'Thor' ($449 million), 'The Incredible Hulk' ($265 million), 'Captain America: The First Avenger' ($370 million), 'Eternals' ($402 million), and 'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings' ($432 million).

Disney and Marvel's 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever', which released in theatres on November 11, is doing exceptionally well at both the domestic and global box office. According to the latest reports, the film has crossed the half-billion mark and its global haul stands at an excellent $546 million. The movie made an estimated $67.3 million in its second weekend domestically and around $69 million from 50 international markets. Mexico, United Kingdom, France, Korea and Brazil are currently the film's top-performing international territories. The 'Black Panther' sequel is currently the seventh-biggest film of the year worldwide and it is expected to eventually top both Marvel films 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' ($955 million) and 'Thor: Love and Thunder' ($760 million). The Chadwick Boseman-starrer film has already overtaken 'Ant-Man' ($518 million), 'Thor' ($449 million), 'The Incredible Hulk' ($265 million), 'Captain America: The First Avenger' ($370 million), 'Eternals' ($402 million), and 'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings' ($432 million). The film marks the sequel to Coogler's own 2018 blockbuster, which grossed $700 million domestically and made about $1.3 billion worldwide. Wakanda Forever's journey to the big screen wasn't easy. Due to the sudden and shocking death of Chadwick Boseman, Coogler was forced to refashion the sequel into a tribute to both the late actor and his iconic character, King T’Challa. Featuring a star-studded lineup of famous stars from the world of music and showbiz, the annual fan-voted awards show made waves online as fans saw their favourite artists getting honoured for their craft. With eight nominations, Bad Bunny topped&nbsp;the list, followed by Drake, Taylor Swift and Beyonce with six nominations each. Harry Styles, Adele and The Weeknd had five nominations each. Meanwhile, first-time nominees at the AMAs were Tems, Latto, Jack Harlow, BLACKPINK, Anitta and Swedish House Mafia.

The '90s hit television series 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' star, Jason David Frank, is no more! The actor reportedly died by suicide at the age of 49 in Texas. Best known for portraying Tommy aka the White Ranger in the hit show, Frank is survived by his four children.&nbsp;

More details about his death are yet to be revealed and there has been no confirmation on the cause of death so far, however, several publications have reported that the actor took his own life for unknown reasons.

"Please respect the privacy of his family and friends during this horrible time as we come to terms with the loss of such a wonderful human being," his manager Justine Hunt said in a statement. "He loved his family, friends and fans very much. He will truly be missed."

Meanwhile,&nbsp;Walter Jones, who played the black ranger in the show, spoke to TMZ and shared, "He was an inspiration to so many people. His presence will be dearly missed. It’s so sad to lose another member of our Ranger family."

Anti-conformist French filmmaker Jean-Marie Straub died peacefully at his home in Switzerland on Sunday, the Swiss National Film Archive announced. He was 89. Straub was a peer of many greats from the French New Wave art film movement and received the Locarno Film Festival's lifetime achievement award.

"I spoke to Mrs Straub at midday; he died at 6:00 am this morning at his house in Rolle," on Lake Geneva in western Switzerland, Cinematheque Suisse spokesman Christophe Bolli told AFP. "He died peacefully."

Born in 1933 in Metz in northeastern France, Straub started out as an assistant to some of the great French filmmakers of the age, including Jean Renoir, Jacques Rivette and Robert Bresson.

He was close to New Wave standard bearers Francois Truffaut and Jean-Luc Godard. In the 1960s, he left France for Germany, directing films in tandem with his then-wife Daniele Huillet.

The couple challenged traditional narrative and aesthetic patterns. She died in 2006.

Among their best-known films are 'From the Clouds to the Resistance'&nbsp;(1979) and 'Sicilia!'&nbsp;(1999).

He eventually lived around the corner from Godard, who died in Rolle in September aged 91.

"We were very, very close to him. He also donated some of his films to us," Bolli said of Straub. "We had done a lot of screenings with him and he came many times between 2018 and 2019. Afterwards, his health deteriorated."

In 2017 he was awarded Locarno's Leopard of Honour, putting him in the company of other recipients including Rivette, Godard, Ennio Morricone, Bernardo Bertolucci, Paul Verhoeven, Ken Loach, Terry Gilliam, Werner Herzog and John Landis.
