It all started when&nbsp;Styles made&nbsp;a stylish entry backstage after receiving his Grammy. When&nbsp;an interviewer asked Styles if he thought Beyoncé would win the Album of the Year award, he said he doesn't think anyone could look at the nominees and not feel like they all were deserving.

Without saying a yes or a no, he further replied, "When I look at this category, it’s all the people who have inspired me. These people have inspired me at different times. You can't predict who's winning. But, ya I am very grateful."

Following its broadcast,&nbsp;he was effectively banned from appearing at most public events with the royals,&nbsp; stripped of many of his patronages and roles, and forbidden from using the honorific 'His Royal Highness'. Andrew however could appear in private family events, such as the funeral of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.

Lawmakers in Florida are proposing to give&nbsp;governor Ron DeSantis full control over the board overseeing Walt Disney Co.'s special district.&nbsp;

According to the latest reports, a new bill filed on Monday would give the governor power to appoint the five-member board of supervisors that runs&nbsp;the Reedy Creek Improvement District, which is a special government entity that has&nbsp;granted several benefits to Disney for over half a century. Those five appointees will then have to be confirmed by state senators.

The new rules also prevent people with ties to a&nbsp;theme park in the last three years from serving on the board.

"Florida is dissolving the corporate kingdom and beginning a new era of accountability and transparency," Bryan Griffin, DeSantis’ press secretary, said in an emailed statement. The former rules "gifted extraordinary special privileges to a single corporation."

Reedy Creek&nbsp;Improvement District is currently governed by a five-member board of supervisors, which are usually elected by local property owners, according to its charter. Given that most of the land within the district is owned by Disney and its affiliates, the company has out-sized decision-making power.

In a statement, Jeff Vahle, president of the Walt Disney World resort, stated that the company is monitoring the progress of the legislation. "Disney works under a number of different models and jurisdictions around the world, and regardless of the outcome, we remain committed to providing the highest quality experience for the millions of guests who visit each year,"&nbsp;he said.

DeSantis signed a law last year that would have dissolved Reedy Creek, which provides municipal functions such as infrastructure, water and emergency services to Walt Disney World Resort. The move was a response to what the Florida governor saw as Disney's criticism of a law he signed that limits elementary school teachings about gender identity.&nbsp;

The bill will be discussed in a Florida House state affairs committee hearing on Wednesday and is expected to be debated by the full legislature later this week. Eventually, a version will be brought to DeSantis for his signature.

Nathan Chasing Horse, who played a pivotal role in&nbsp;the 1990 American epic western film&nbsp;'Dances With Wolves'&nbsp;directed&nbsp;and produced by Kevin Costner,&nbsp;has been charged in Nevada for sexual assault crimes that prosecutors suggest occurred in Las Vegas starting in 2012.&nbsp;

The 46-year-old has been accused of sexually abusing Indigenous girls and women for nearly two decades in multiple states. He was formally charged on Monday morning during a brief appearance in a Las Vegas courtroom.

According to a criminal complaint, Chasing Horse is charged with eight felonies, including sexual assault against a child younger than 16,&nbsp;sex trafficking, and child abuse. Prosecutors also filed an additional felony charge against the actor on Monday in connection with what detectives said were videos saved on a phone showing sexual abuse against a minor.

After SWAT officers took him under custody last week, detectives searched his home and found guns. The officers also found&nbsp;18.5 kilograms of marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms in his apartment, according to the arrest report.

The criminal complaint, which was filed on Monday, also charges Chasing Horse with two misdemeanours in connection with a dead bald eagle and parts of a dead hawk discovered during the search of his property.

Chasing Horse was born on the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota, which is home to the Sicangu Sioux, one of the seven tribes of the Lakota nation.

A judge postponed hearing arguments about his custody status until Wednesday to give Chasing Horse’s new California-based attorney, Alexandra Kazaria, additional time to obtain permission from the State Bar of Nevada to represent him in the case.

Nevada law requires prosecutors to present convincing evidence that a defendant should remain in custody. Clark County Deputy District Attorney Jessica Walsh said last week that she expected testimony from Las Vegas police detectives, FBI special agents and victims.

In the meantime, Chasing Horse is currently held without bail at a jail in downtown Las Vegas. He has been in custody since his January 31 arrest near the North Las Vegas home he shares with his five wives.

Seated in front of Chasing Horse's family on Monday were some of the victims and their supporters, who held signs inside the courtroom reading, "NO MORE STOLEN SISTERS" and "WOMEN AREN’T PRISONERS."

The actor refused to enter a plea on Monday after he was formally charged. In Nevada, defendants do not usually enter a plea until their criminal case is bound over to a state district court, either after a grand jury indictment or after a judge decides prosecutors have enough evidence for the defendant to stand trial.

According to the police, Chasing Horse abused his position and took several underage wives over two decades in multiple states, including South Dakota, Montana and Nevada. He also was banished from the Fort Peck Reservation in Poplar, Montana, in 2015 following similar allegations.

In a 50-page search warrant, investigators described the actor as the leader of a cult known as 'The Circle', whose followers believed he could communicate with higher powers.

At least six victims of the actor's heinous crimes have been identified, including one who was 13 when she said she was abused by Chasing Horse, and another who said she was offered to him as a "gift" when she was just 15.

"I'm super excited," said a woman named Chen, beaming as she lined up to enter a packed theatre in Shanghai for the midnight premiere of 'Wakanda Forever'.

"I've had to use streaming sites to watch the last couple of movies... But I hope this means I'll watch Marvel movies more often in theatres now."

The end of the apparent block on Marvel films has coincided with China's loosening of the strict zero-Covid policies that disrupted its entertainment industry for years.&nbsp;

China's communist rulers have also recently eased a tech crackdown, including on the lucrative gaming sector.

"Because of Covid, it's already been a long time since we've been to the cinema," said hospital worker Kun, 25, who came to the Shanghai theatre to watch 'Wakanda Forever' with his friends. "We still have to work tomorrow but it's a rare opportunity so we came here."

For one mother-and-son duo at the Shanghai cinema, the return of Marvel revived a family tradition.

"He's always been a Marvel fan -- during the Avengers series, we would always watch the midnight screening," said Lin Fan, with her visibly excited 13-year-old son Jiang Xiaoyi.&nbsp;

Next up for Chinese Marvel fans is "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania", set for release on February 17.

'Spider-Man: Far from Home'&nbsp;was the last Marvel film released in China, in July 2019.

The China Film Administration, affiliated with the Communist Party's propaganda department, has not given a reason for the absence of Marvel films from cinemas.

During that period, Disney declined requests by censors to remove references to same-sex relationships in Marvel films, including 2021's 'Eternals' and 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' a year later.

However, the global media giant has also faced accusations of bending to Beijing's will.

Its remake of 'Mulan' faced boycott calls after it emerged that some of the scenes were filmed in China's Xinjiang, where widespread rights abuses against the region's Muslim population have been widely documented.

And two episodes of the popular animated show 'The Simpsons' have been unavailable on the company's Disney+ streaming service in Hong Kong -- one that references the 1989 Tiananmen Square crackdown, and another mentioning "forced labour camps" in China.

Regulators and Disney have not publicly commented on the apparent restriction of these episodes.

Disney is not the only company accused of bowing to censorship requirements in China, a multi-billion-dollar media market.

A 2020 report by the anti-censorship group Pen America said Hollywood studios changed scripts, deleted scenes and altered other content to avoid offending Chinese authorities.

The report said they had to completely avoid sensitive issues including Hong Kong, Xinjiang, the portrayal of LGBTQ characters and Taiwan -- a self-ruled island China considers its territory.

Award-winning novelist Sir Salman Rushdie, who was stabbed last year at an event in New York, is all set to release his new novel 'Victoria City', an epic tale of a 14th-century woman who defies a patriarchal world to rule a city, on Tuesday. In a recent interview, he finally broke his silence and commented on the 'colossal attack', due to which he spent six weeks in hospital and lost vision in one eye.&nbsp;

Speaking to The New Yorker, Sir Salman said he was "lucky" to have survived the attack and that his "main overwhelming feeling is of gratitude".

In the wide-ranging conversation with David Remnick, the novelist further revealed, "I've been better. But, considering what happened, I'm not so bad."&nbsp;

Hadi Matar,&nbsp;the man suspected of stabbing Sir Salman, has been charged with attempted murder.

"The big injuries are healed, essentially. I have feeling in my thumb and index finger and in the bottom half of the palm. I'm doing a lot of hand therapy, and I'm told that I'm doing very well," he said before stating that it was difficult for him to type and write due to a lack of sensation in some of his fingertips.

Further, sharing how much he has recovered so far, Sir Salman said, "I'm able to get up and walk around. When I say I'm fine, I mean, there are bits of my body that need constant checkups. It was a colossal attack."
