<p>A rescue team could take him out safely on April 20, 2023, a turning point in Maloo's life.</p>

<p>He was barely conscious. With hopes of his survival seemingly bleak, his friends and family prayed that Maloo somehow could see another&nbsp;day.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Two Polish mountaineers, Adam Bielecki, and Mariusz Hatala, were among the heroes who would eventually pull Maloo out of the clutches of the icy mountains.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"There is a lot of joy and celebration now," Maloo told WION, having&nbsp;returned home in Rajasthan after spending about six months at India's prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) hospital in Delhi.</p>

<p>His reunion with family was their best gift this Diwali, a festival of light as well as togetherness.</p>

<p>"Only half of my family was there back at the hospital, and Diwali is one such occasion where everyone is supposed to be together. I am glad I am home," he added.</p>

<p>Asked what does he recall from his time inside the crevasse, Maloo said he had "no memories of those three days."</p>

<p>"Now, watching videos on my GoPro is bringing back some faint memories. I made a station inside the crevasse."</p>

<p>AIIMS, where Anurag spent six months, became his sanctuary.</p>

<p>Grateful for the care, emotional, and mental support, he said, "AIIMS gave me my life back. It is a miracle in itself, and we don't necessarily always celebrate the work that the doctors do. I wish that more often."</p>

<p>"I feel blessed that they took my responsibility and delivered the results. I was not even sure if I could walk again. Now I can stand and walk. The amount of work that doctors do in saving your life...in my case, there were so many complications where my internal organs were not stabilised, they were infected, they had to do plastic surgeries for my body parts."</p>

<p>As per the report, nonmelanoma skin cancer "refers to a group of cancers that develop in the upper layers of the skin. The two main subtypes of this cancer are basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma."&nbsp;</p>

<p>The shocking research report was released on Wednesday (Nov 8), laying out data that shows how critical the challenge really is.&nbsp;As per the report, in 2019, an estimated 28 per cent of the global working-age population was exposed to solar ultraviolet radiation while working outdoors.</p>

<p>It included an unimaginably large chuck of the global population - nearly 1.6 billion individuals aged 15 or older.&nbsp;</p>

<p>WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said, “Unprotected exposure to solar ultraviolet radiation at work is a major cause of occupational skin cancer. But there are effective solutions to protect workers from the sun's harmful rays and prevent their deadly effects."</p>

<p>In Tel Aviv, thousands also took to the streets, waving flags and displaying images of the captives in Gaza. Their signs bore slogans such as "Release the hostages now at all costs." The crowds were seen chanting "bring them home now."</p>

<p>One protester, Ofri Bibas-Levy, whose brother and two young nephews - four-year-old son Ariel and 10-month-old son Kfir - were among the hostages, expressed her concerns about their well-being in a conversation with Reuters.</p>

<p>WION also sought a response from the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs if they have taken note of Pannun's threats to blow up an AI flight on Nov 19.</p>

<p>Acknowledging the question asked by WION, "Is the Canadian government planning any action on this threat?" the authorities responded by saying they would be looking into the matter.&nbsp;However, as of now, specific details are still awaited.&nbsp;</p>
