<p>"JCB driver Manoj Kumar's body has been retrieved while we see two more bodies of engineer Sachin and a policeman Yaqoob. We have rescued another man, Ravi Roy, from the debris. 10 to 15 others sustained minor injuries in the two landslides," said&nbsp;Kishtwar SSP Shafqat Bhat.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh informed the media that the rescue team deputed to the accident spot had also been trapped in the debris, suggesting that the extent of the landslides was much more dangerous than first anticipated.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The probative value of a woman's testimony does not depend on her sexual history. It is patriarchal and sexist to suggest that a woman cannot be believed when she states that she was raped merely because she is sexually active."</p>

<p>In the concluding statements, the bench ordered the union government and state governments to ensure that guidelines laid down by the Department of Health and Family Welfare are implemented in government and private hospitals.&nbsp;</p>

Chinese foreign minister lashes out at Blinken during a phone call

<p>At least 100 people have been killed and more than 300 injured in the twin car bomb explosions that rocked the capital city of&nbsp;Mogadishu,&nbsp;President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud said in a statement on Sunday.</p>

<p>According to local media reports,&nbsp;the two car bomb explosions targeted Somalia's education ministry building&nbsp;on Saturday afternoon.</p>

<p>"Two car bombs targeted the education ministry building along K5 street," an inhabitant was quoted as saying by Reuters.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A police officer guarding the ministry, who gave his name as Hassan, had initially told Reuters that he saw at least 12 bodies and more than 20 people wounded.</p>

<p>The visuals of the bomb blast have since gone viral on social media platforms and show the explosion cloud&nbsp;rising above the city.</p>

<p>President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who visited the site, blamed the Islamist group al-Shabaab for the attack, which has yet to claim responsibility.&nbsp;</p>

<p data-testid="paragraph-1">"Our people who were massacred ... included mothers with their children in their arms, fathers who had medical conditions, students who were sent to study, businessmen who were struggling with the lives of their families," Mohamud was quoted as saying.</p>

'Ligma & Johnson': Two pranksters posing as laid-off Twitter employees trick media outlets

<p>A little more than a week after drawing curtains on the 20th Communist Party of China (CPC) Congress, President Xi Jinping is still making moves to have the perfect and the most loyal group of yes-men surrounding him.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Reportedly, Xi has named Chen Yixin, 63, as the new minister of state security. Chen has been a close confidant of Xi and has always been given the most challenging job profiles.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In early 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic was still in its infancy, Chen was dispatched to Wuhan to contain the outbreak and also handle the heat from international media, following the death of Dr Li Wenliang.</p>

<p>According to metrics set by Xi, Chen managed to perform adequately and was soon ordered to lead an anti-corruption campaign across the country to tighten the country's law enforcement and security apparatus.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Chen was the deputy director of the party's general office and it was there that the two forged a mutually beneficial working arrangement.&nbsp;</p>

<p>CPC's Shanghai chief Li Qiang who has been anointed as the next premier of the country also managed to leapfrog other much-qualified candidates, solely because of his personal history with Xi.&nbsp;</p>

Reportedly, Xi has named Chen Yixin, 63, as the new minister of state security. Chen has been a close confidant of Xi and has always been given the most challenging job profiles. In early 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic was still in its infancy, Chen was dispatched to Wuhan to contain the outbreak and also handle the heat from international media, following the death of Dr Li Wenliang. According to metrics set by Xi, Chen managed to perform adequately and was soon ordered to lead an anti-corruption campaign across the country to tighten the country's law enforcement and security apparatus. Xi was CPC's Zhejiang province chief in 2002 when the two first crossed paths. Chen was the deputy director of the party's general office and it was there that the two forged a mutually beneficial working arrangement. As reported by WION, this is not the first instance of Xi using his Zhejiang connection to place his trusted allies on the top party positions. CPC's Shanghai chief Li Qiang who has been anointed as the next premier of the country also managed to leapfrog other much-qualified candidates, solely because of his personal history with Xi.
