In a shocking development, a woman, originally hailing from India's Hyderabad, was found dead in Australia's Victoria state.

The body of the deceased,&nbsp;identified as Chaithanya 'Swetha' Madhagani, was found in a wheelie bin on Mount Pollock Road in Buckley, near the town of Winchelsea on Saturday (March 9), according to The Herald Sun.

As per the local media reports, the authorities point towards a potential link to Swetha's husband Ashok Raj's involvement in the incident who abruptly flew to India with their three-year-old son shortly before the victim's body was found.

The local residents in Buckley immediately informed the police after spotting the bin that was dumped alongside the dirt road.

A probe has been launched into the incident. The investigators believe that Shwetha was first murdered at her home where she lived with her husband and son and her dead body was later disposed off in the bin.

A police spokesperson released a statement saying that the authorities believed Shwetha knew who her killer was, however, they were still working to ascertain the circumstances that led to her death, according to The Age.

"At this stage in the investigation, it is believed the parties involved are known to one another and the offender may have fled overseas," the spokesperson said.

"There is no immediate threat to the community and no arrests have been made."

Tributes flowed for the young woman since her death was confirmed.

"She was one of the sweetest girls ever. Everyone would want to have Swetha in their lives," one of her neighbours said.

"She was full of life — I can't believe she's gone. A life is lost it's worse she was found somewhere else we all deserve dignity."

The United States Department of Justice has started a criminal investigation into the Boeing jet door blowout case which had created a gaping hole on the Alaska Airlines aeroplane in January, reported the Wall Street Journal on Saturday (Mar 9).&nbsp;

The newspaper, citing documents, said that some passengers and crew members, which included pilots and flight attendants who had boarded the January 5&nbsp;flight, were contacted by the investigators.

Alaska Airlines'&nbsp;plane&nbsp;door blew out seven minutes after it took off from Portland, Oregon which forced the pilots to make an emergency landing.

Since the incident, Boeing has remained under scrutiny. In an official statement, Alaska Airlines said, “In an event like this, it’s normal for the DOJ to be conducting an investigation. “We are fully co-operating and do not believe we are a target of the investigation.”

<h2>DOJ to look into Boeing's previous settlement</h2>

According to the Wall Street Journal, the investigation will also assist the Department in reviewing whether Boeing complied with an earlier settlement which resolved a federal investigation of its 737 Max aircraft's safety after two deadly crashes in 2018 and 2019.

Boeing had agreed to make a payment of $2.5 billion, which included a $244 million fine, in 2021 to settle the investigation into the crashes of flights which were operated by Lion Air and Ethiopian Airlines.&nbsp;

Two employees were also blamed by the company for deceiving regulators regarding flaws in the flight-control system.

In a letter to Congress, Boeing also acknowledged that it is not able to find records for work done on Alaska Airlines plane's door panel.

“We have looked extensively and have not found any such documentation,” Ziad Ojakli, Boeing executive vice president and chief government lobbyist, said in a letter to Sen. Maria Cantwell.

Four Nepali nationals&nbsp;who claim they were fraudulently tricked into joining the Russian army as fighters, have pleaded with the Indian government to rescue them. The four men can be seen huddled in a hut in a video circulating on social media. They have also accused the Nepalese government of turning its back on them and “doing nothing” to secure their repatriation.

“We are not being heard by the Embassy of Nepal (in Moscow). Nepal is not helping us. We want to seek help from our neighbouring country, India," one of the men said.

A Russian student was imprisoned for 10 days in Moscow after he used a pro-Kyiv slogan as the name of his wi-fi network.

The network was named by the Moscow State University student as "Slava Ukraini!" which means "Glory to Ukraine!".

He was found guilty by a Moscow court of displaying "symbols of extremist organisations" on Thursday (Mar 7).

Since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine war, thousands of people have been given prison sentences or imposed fines for either supporting Ukraine or criticising Russia's invasion.&nbsp;

The police arrested the student on Wednesday morning (Mar 7) in Moscow after a police officer had reported the name of the network to the authorities.&nbsp;

As per the court documents, his room - which was inside the university's student accommodation - was inspected by the police officers after which they found his personal computer and a wi-fi router.

According to the court, he had used the network to "promote the slogan 'Slava Ukraini!' to an unlimited number of users within wi-fi range." The police confiscated the router.

The supporters of Ukraine have been using "Slava Ukraini" as a rallying cry and are regularly chanted in protests against the full-scale invasion of Russia which was launched on&nbsp;February 24,&nbsp;2022.

However, dealing a humiliating blow to Communities Secretary Michael Gove, who leads efforts to combat extremism, Mughal declined the role after enduring "vile" assaults from both the far-right and Islamists, who had branded him a "sell-out."

Quoting sources, the publication reports that Mughal felt "drained" by the intensity and type of abuse following the speculation linking him to the new role.&nbsp;

Reportedly, he also received physical threats and abusive messages via email. "Sinister attempts were also made to find addresses of family members," a friend revealed. "He was getting very concerned about security and the job didn't come with any protection."

"He had too much abuse from both sides, and part of him had just had enough. He turned down the role, shortly after No 10 approved it."

Had he accepted, Mughal would have collaborated with Lord Mann, who advises Communities Secretary Michael Gove on combating anti-Semitism.

This comes as Gove is due to introduce a broader definition of extremism next week, allowing the government and various entities to prohibit funding for Islamist and right-wing organisations and cease engagement with them. Additionally, a new counter-extremism centre will be established to research and devise strategies to counter hatred.
