US: Unemployment among women 3 points higher than men
The biggest job loss America history has revealed a deep gender bias, according a recent jobs report. In the United States, 20.5 million jobs were wiped out in April with unemployment rising to 14.7 per cent, the highest since the Great Depression. As per the report, it appears that women, especially single moms have been hit harder by the economic downturn.
