Saudi Arabia says its air defences intercepted dozens of drones after they entered the kingdom’s airspace, according to official reports.
Authorities said the drones were detected approaching Saudi territory before air defence systems successfully intercepted them. Officials have not yet released full details about where the drones originated or their intended targets.
The incident comes amid heightened regional tensions and increased drone and missile activity across the Middle East.
