US Emergency Oil Reserves Hit 2-Year Low

The United States Strategic Petroleum Reserve, or SPR, is shrinking fast. Since the war with Iran began, the amount of oil in America's emergency oil stockpile has dropped by about 50 million barrels.
That is a fall of 12 percent. Stocks now stand at 365 million barrels. That is the lowest level since April 2024.
