US court backs Trump administration on return of slavery history exhibit panels

A federal appeals court has ruled that the Trump administration may proceed with removing and replacing the slavery history exhibit at the President's House site in Philadelphia. The decision overturns a previous injunction that had forced the National Park Service to restore the original interpretive panels, which detailed the lives of nine people enslaved by George Washington.
