Ahead of the much-awaited Biden-Xi meet the United States has warned China over its pressure on Taiwan. The U.S. State department in a statement said that secretary of state Antony Blinken spoke with foreign minister Wang Yi, and "Expressed concern regarding china's continued military, diplomatic, and economic pressure against Taiwan".
