UN Committee denies Taliban & Myanmar Military Junta's seats the world body

The United Nations Accreditation Committee has denied the chosen representatives of Afghanistan and Myanmar at the world body. The committee responsible for approving nominations of ambassadors met Wednesday but deferred a decision over rival claims to the seats for both countries.
