Staff at the UK's largest zoo kicked off the biggest task of the year in the snow Thursday (7 JANUARY 2021): their annual stocktake. The keepers at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo near Dunstable in Bedfordshire, England, must count every invertebrate, bird, fish, mammal, reptile and amphibian, as required as part of the zoo's license.
