Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that Russia may once again attempt to involve Belarus in its ongoing war against Ukraine. According to Ukrainian intelligence reports cited by Kyiv, there are signs of increased military preparations near the Belarus-Ukraine border, including road construction and artillery positioning.
Zelensky cautioned that these developments could indicate a renewed effort by Moscow to expand the conflict’s scope. Belarus previously allowed Russian forces to use its territory during the early phase of the invasion, making the country a key strategic factor in the war’s evolution. The warning highlights growing concerns about potential regional escalation.
