Ukraine Minister Anastasia Bondar speaks to WION

Ukraine's deputy minister of culture & information policy Anastasia Bondar has emphasized on cultural cooperation with India even has she highlighted how the ongoing war in her country has damaged heritage sites. Speaking to our diplomatic correspondent Sidhant Sibal she said, 'over a 1000 sites have been destroyed and damaged' due to the war in Ukraine. She is in Delhi for the UNESCO heritage comittee meeting. Earlier in the day Kazakhstan's amendments to Ukraine resolutions on sites impacted due to war which were aimed to omit references to Russia rejected in a secret ballot. The minister welcomed the prevailing of Ukraine's position. She also spoke on PM Modi's visit to Russia and meeting with Ukraine President Zelenskyy, the current situation in her country.
