Vijay, chief of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, has made a strong and emotional appeal to voters ahead of polling day in Tamil Nadu.
In an open letter, Vijay urged people to support his party’s “whistle” symbol, framing the election as a decisive battle against established political forces. He said his entry into politics was driven by a desire to repay the love and support of the people, calling it a “debt of gratitude.”
Taking aim at both Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and Bharatiya Janata Party, Vijay alleged that the parties had caused him “indescribable pain” and reiterated his opposition to them.
