Tamil Nadu has expanded its defence industrial corridor to five major nodes—Chennai, Trichy, Coimbatore, Salem and Hosur—as it targets ₹75,000 crore in investments. The state aims to position itself as a key hub in India's growing defence manufacturing ecosystem and capitalise on the country's ₹3 lakh crore defence production push.
