Sri Lanka: Poll body lays rules for expenditure
Over 700,000 employees of the state sector are expected to cast mail votes this week in the first round of the presidential elections in Sri Lanka. With 38 candidates running, the front-runners will be trying to gain an advantage over the competition before the elections on September 21st, which are set to begin tomorrow with postal voting.
