South Korean and US will go ahead with joint military drills this week. Despite a warning from North Korea that the drills will set back progress in improving inter-Korean relations. Commenting on the drills, Kim Yo Jong sister of North Korean politician Kim Jong Un had said, "The drills are an unwelcome, self-destructive action" that threaten the North Korean people and raise tensions on the Korean peninsula.
