During Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi’s high-profile visit to New Delhi, India announced an upgrade in diplomatic engagement with the Taliban-led administration in Kabul. The talks, which included meetings with senior Indian officials, focused on strengthening trade, infrastructure, and regional stability. Muttaqi emphasized the importance of economic cooperation, while Indian counterparts reiterated the need for peace, inclusive governance, and curbing terrorism in the region.
