Early counting in Nepal’s 2026 general elections shows emerging trends as votes are being tallied across the Himalayan nation. Preliminary results indicate the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), led by former rapper and Kathmandu mayor Balendra “Balen” Shah, is leading in the early count in numerous constituencies and outperforming traditional parties such as the Nepali Congress and the CPN‑UML.
