Modi flags off 1st made-in-India Maruti E-Vitara EV for global export | EV push from Gujarat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has flagged off Maruti Suzuki's first global electric SUV – the e Vitara – from the Hansalpur plant in Gujarat.
This marks a major milestone for India’s electric vehicle journey, as the made-in-India e Vitara will be exported to over 100 countries, including Europe and Japan.
The Hansalpur facility, now a hub for Suzuki’s EV manufacturing, also features a multimodal cargo terminal with direct connectivity to Mundra Port.
