Japanese Parliament Confirms Shigeru Ishiba As New Prime Minister

Shigeru ishiba has been voted in as Japan's new Prime Minister in the Parliament. Ishiba became the Prime Minister after Fumio Kishida stepped down. Kishida's resignation came after he announced in August that he would not seek reelection at the end of his three-year term. In an official statement Ishiba said that he will call for the election after he's sworn in as the country's Prime Minister in the Parliament. Watch in for more details!
