Israel-Hamas war: UNGA demands immediate ceasefire in Gaza

The United Nations General Assembly has overwhelmingly voted for a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza. Of 193 Nations, 153 backed the calls for a ceasefire while 19 voted against it and 23 abstained from voting. Refusing calls for a ceasefire the Israeli Envoy held up a placard with a telephone number and the name and image of Yahya Sinwar, a Hamas leader in Gaza.
