Iran’s judiciary has confirmed that joint United States-Israel military strikes killed Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander General Mohammad Pakpour, one of the most senior figures in Iran’s security apparatus. The confirmation comes amid broader escalations in the Middle East after coordinated attacks on Iranian military leadership. Pakpour led the IRGC, Iran’s elite force, until his death in the strikes.
