India elections 2024: CPI(M) announces candidates for 4 Lok Sabha seats
In West Bengal, the Communist Party of India announced candidates for four Lok Sabha constituencies. The daughter of one of India's biggest Sandalwood Smugglers Veerappan will contest in Lok Sabha polls. Trinamool Congress candidate and former actor Rachan Banerjee began her campaign from the Hooghly Lok Sabha constituency and there's a Twist. In a bid to woo the voters the actor told voters that now they can see her in person.
