Hit and run cases: India raises victim compensation by up to 8 times

Indian roads often witness road rage and hit and run cases. Now, the government has raised compensation to victims of hit-and-run cases. The revised compensation is applicable from April 2022. It was notified by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
