France to deploy 35,000 security personnel for the Olympic Games 2024 opening ceremony

France will deploy 35,000 security agents and military for the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games. For the first time in the history of summer games the ceremony will be held outside the walls of the stadium. The parade of athletes will be held on the Seine River with boats for each national delegation with spectators not needing a ticket to access.
