Food choices shift to convenience in urban India

A report by Deloitte suggests urban India is undergoing a major shift in how it eats. Gone are the days when most of the food budget was spent on groceries and home-cooked meals. Today, nearly half of what city dwellers spend on food goes to dining out, ordering in, or buying packaged and prepared foods.
