Tensions flared at Domodedovo Airport as Russian authorities detained and questioned around 40 Israeli passengers arriving from Tel Aviv.
Reports say the travelers were held for several hours—some for up to five hours—while security officials conducted interrogations linked to the ongoing conflict involving Iran.
Passengers were reportedly questioned individually, with some asked to unlock their phones or switch them off. Officials allegedly told detainees that Iran is an ally of Russia and that “any enemy of Iran is our enemy too.
