Disney to lay off 7,000 employees to make business more profitable
Walt Disney Co. announced a major restructuring , cutting 7,000 jobs as part of an effort to save $5.5 billion in costs and make its streaming business profitable. The 7,000 job cuts will account for around 3.6 per cent of the entire workforce at Disney.
