At least 23 dead as torrential rains wreak havoc in Brazil

At least 23 people have lost their lives due to heavy floods and landslides triggered by torrential rainfall in Brazil. Hundreds of cars and houses have been destroyed by the mudslides and several shops have been inundated by the rising water levels.
