Alibaba has drastically reduced prices for its AI services by up to 97%, sparking a price war in China's AI market. In response, Baidu Cloud announced free services based on its Ernie AI models just hours later. Bytedance, the parent company of TikTok, also revealed AI service prices that are up to 99% cheaper than the industry standard.
