Brasilia: Protest Links Land Rights & Amazon Climate
Thousands of Indigenous people from over 200 tribes marched in Brazil’s capital, Brasília, demanding faster land demarcation and stronger protection of their territories. Protesters also linked their demands to climate concerns, warning that deforestation and land conflicts threaten the Amazon.
